I doubt anyone of importance at 10c is reading this. they could care less as long as money keeps rolling in.

    green disease

Yet we will all (myself included) continue to fund them. We'll renew our memberships, buy whatever merch they offer us.

And the powers that be at 10C know this.

At this point to not provide an update is a farce. A blatant lack of respect.

But lets not say anything that could hurt their feelings...

Am I the only one to fear that something bigger than tecnical issues might have happened? I'm not saying that I think someone has died or anything really horrible like that, but that there could be a reason why TC are not responding ...
But then again - Whenever my mum doesn't pick up the phone, I'm absolutely certain that she's had a stroke and is lying on the floor desperately trying to reach the phone, and then I find out that she's just been to get the laundry or something like that.
So it is probably just me :?

  • yes, lets be quiet about our true feelings. because if we exercise our first amendment rights here the board mods might not like the truths that have been spoke. and we may get bannished to the deepest depths of the itnernets black hole

  • They aren't responding because that's just how they are. Communication isn't the Ten Club's strong suit.

  • As you can see from my post count that I haven't been a regular contributor on this forum but do scan through on a regular basis to see what is happening in the world of PJ.

I have been a fan of PJ for many years and listen to their albums daily but have never had the opportunity to see them in concert. At the beginning of the year I decided that it was about time that I stopped just listening to their music and get along to their next UK gig so this year I became a member of 10C.

When news of their UK gig was announced I was so excited, presale could not come quick enough. After spending 3 hrs trying to get tickets only to come away, like many others, empty handed, checking my e-mails every 15 minutes to see if there was news of when the tickets would go on sale again and the stress of not knowing what is happening or when it will happen, I can honestly say that I am upset and annoyed at the way this has been handled.

I have friends who never been on the forum and probably do not even know that 10C exists that have tickets and that is just through their mobile phone provider.. Maybe next year I shouldn't renew the membership here and just take out an o2 contract, I will probably stand more of a chance of seeing PJ by doing that.

I know that 10C and Crowdsurge will be trying to sort this issue out but to not update the fans is an absolute disgrace. I honestly believe the band themselves would be disappointed knowing that this has happened and that their fans are being left out the loop so I do hope that there will be some sort of intervention from them to get this resolved quickly.

I am sorry for my rant but I need to speak out as my wife has now stopped listening to me :?

10c are really starting to upset me.

CS have been nothing but helpful when I've spoken to them(thrice). They're in their office waiting to get news so they can go home. Like us they're waiting on 10c.

This is appalling service. CS has it's hands tied by 10c with what they can tell us so, as ever, it's incumbent on 10c to keep us informed.

    Jeez!!!!!!!!!!! It's basic business practice.

But unlike if i get terrible service from a supermarket chain where I can choose to go to another store I can't really choose to shop for a different band. Like most here I love this band because they touch me emotionally. Shopping for veg doesn't!

I feel right now the 10c are abusing the fact we have an emotional involvement and won't 'shop' elsewhere.

If I behaved like this at my work I wouldn't have my job for too long. What makes Tim and 10c so unaccountable for their behavior and working practices?

  • I have a story for you:

I got as far as having a pair of tickets for Amsteradm in my cart, entered my credit card info, everything ... then before I could seal the deal the server crashed...just out of curiosity I called my bank (Valley National) to see if the charge had gone through ... the supervisor I finally got around to talking to (you KNOW it took a while to get to her!!!) told me that the bank, and MANY MANY other banks in the United States, has a block on all credit card transactions from Great Britain (yep, CROWDSURGE is based in Great Britain) due to a surge in credit card fraud from that region...I wonder how many of us THINK we DID score tickets, but will find out way after the sales are done, that their transaction was DENIED by their bank because, unbeknownst to them, their bank also has this policy? The ONLY possible solution to this is to put everything off one week...have the fan club pre sale next Tuesday, then the public ticketmaster sale the following Saturday...I mean, I'm sure ticketmaster would bend over backwards to help Pearl Jam out of this mess.......wouldn't they?
I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!

...I was always a DeadHead, but when I first heard Winston Rodney, aka the Burning Spear, sing, I became a SpearHead too!
  • Alpine and Canada sucked as much or worse than this... (at least I got to stop hitting F5 at some point yesterday)..

But the fact that we are getting no information about what to do... is unfair.

with all due respect, Kat, such disclaimer/reminder of posting rules and "keeping things on a high road" and appropriate behaviour is somewhat ironic after such failure and lack of communication on 10C side.
