They need to give us a try and play the south0 -
They put the rest of us to fuckin' shame! Berlin kinda comes close, but nowhere near that level of intensity!
South Americans - please invade Europe next year and dance with us0 -

I wouldn't go to a show in a crowd like those down there, I enjoy having my space where I can go to the bathroom, get a beer, and get back to my seat in 4 minutes. I also don't like having to sit in line all day to get my spot, being crushed by people trying to get closer, etc...
that being said, enjoy the shows down there.0 -

Without really knowing your age, wonder if you thought the same 15 years agoYou always have the option of being on a seat though, and still experience the same amazing vibe

It's pretty obvious by this person's username that he/she was born in 1919.
Just kidding. Everyone enjoys shows in different ways, I personally love to feel the energy of the crowd, although of course you miss details, because you get wrapped up in the overall experience.I am just a dreamer, but you are just a dream...
If I knew where it was I would take you there.0 -

"From the stage, the best crowd/show of all time, an acid trip of Argentinian passion. Hard to explain not only what we were seeing but what we were feeling....first time in a long time that I couldn't sleep after a show.
Still processing it....

Dimi - couldn't find it, but you I trust...man, these shows sound so fn great, never felt the need to visit SA...that has changed...loving these reviews...now if you could just arrange to settle down your protesting countrymen - these austerity measures are needed...sorry, no more politics0 -

Couldn't find that comment eitherJust Dimi's comment and a reference to Dimi's comment in an Argentinian blog... but in any case, it was an amazing show to listen live
On the other hand: A lot of protesting in the States and Europe lately, don't you think? LOLBeing Mexican, I've been away from SA just because it's too far away, and it's usually cheaper and faster going to Europe... so I always end up going there. But next time Pearl Jam or Metallica (or both) are back in SA, I'll use it as an excuse to be there! and the shows will be in Buenos Aires

Those chantings you can get anywhere in Latin America, from Mexico to the tip of the continent. If that in the video is what you are looking for, you still have time to make it this tour! I'd love to see the chanting with the music (Black is done everywhere in L A) and the crazy jumping; from my perspective, that's where Argentinians stand out... ohh, and the soccer chantings turned rock... those are really cool as well0 -

And I thought I was a fuckin' BLACKaholic (but nothin' compared to you, of course)...I've never seen anything as good as this...Alpine Valley ending of Black looks and sounds great, but this is another couple of levels above that.. would've been great to be part of it...from the actions of the band I don't think they've ever experienced THIS reaction...Ed seems to be thinkin'...what the fuck have we created here!!! Thank you, it's 3.30am, gotta go..but will just watch it once more (another beautiful Mike lead too!).0 -

We need to just MAKE SURE the next time Pj plays in the US we give them the same kind of crowds!L0

It's two different worlds , they never get to see the band like we get to see them here in the northeast for them it's every 5 to 6yrs same with Europe ...
We here connect with the band on a different level , i attended the shows in Chile in 05 and yes the crowd was fucking great but i''ve seen shows here that i thought were just as good if not better ....96 Randall's Island to me still ranks as the best shows i've attended ...Yes we can't hold a candle to the crowds in Europe or SA But remember we were the one's that lit it .......My 2CNTSEnjoy the shows ...
jesus greets me looks just like me ....0 -

I feel the same way.
It's been enjoyable watching the videos of the crowds down there, but I don't like GA shows, even when I was younger. I don't feel like having some 6'+ guy dig and push his forearms into my back all night as he tries to get 2 inches closer to the stage. I like feeling safe and secure. Having a seat physically defines my personal space and makes me feel safe.0 -
