you use the word "survivor" as if one should respect or admire her for getting through it. I can't imagine the shit she's been through, but you'd think a survivor would have a few nicer things to say to/about people and something positive to contribute to the world. her own daughter emancipated herself from her. every person she's ever known has abandoned her because of her abusive ways. that says something.

very well. when I hear someone say "survivor", it's usually meant in a way that denotes admiration, not just statement of fact that the person is still alive.

she has never said anything that has done anyone any good. someone else said "at least she speaks her mind". that's only useful if you've got something of substance to say, not just bitching about the world/people around you because you are jealous of them.
