This is the rotation I'm hoping for next year. CC, Hughes, Nova, AJ, and either Freddy or Felix. But if CC opts out will the Yankees give the extra years and cash? Who do they trade for Felix if Seattle decides to put him up? Don't want to give up Montero.

Eh, I don't think they have a shot at Felix this offseason. No way without giving up Montero. It would take a lot. Montero + Banuelos + a lot more.

I think we are looking at CC, Hughes, Nova, Wilson/Darvish (probably Wilson), AJ. Maybe a possibility of Buherle? Plus the kids will be up at some point next year.

A wise man once said "All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break them for no one".

PJ20 was quite the shit show for us as well.

Those fuckers won 3 games by a total of 4 runs. That's frustrating.

That's when I really started to follow the Yankees...I was only 5, so I'm really spoiled.

I'm a huge Yankee fan but it only takes 3...they won. Better team at that point. Maybe not last week...maybe not next week but right now they are the better team. :(

I'm looking forward to next year. Hughes hopefully injury free. As with Alex. A full season of Jesus. Nova hopefully continuing to improve. I don't think they need to make many big moves. Maybe 1. Anyone get the feeling Posada comes back?

Congratulations to the Tigers. If you're going to lose to somebody, let it be to a Hall of Fame manager such as Jim Leyland. I know that Ranger lineup is stacked and all that, but I get the sense the Tigers are winning that series.

Amazing thing about this series is they lost a series in which A.J. Burnett pitched well and won a game.

Yes, I know anything without a title is a disappointment. God knows they pipe that into the pregame footage at the Stadium, but I still enjoyed this season immensely and will continue watching the baseball playoffs even if the Yankees are not in them.

Still scratching my head a lil this early am.

IMO Arod and Tex needed to be split up. I know Game 4 they came around a lil when it didn't count but those 2 back to back put a lot of wild swings together. Swish was pretty terrible as well. Those 3 pretty much sunk us.

Good luck to Detroit. They have a real shot and are managed By one of my personal favorites
