I have very few vinyl that is still stealed, but why spin this if it sounds exactly the same as the black vinyl (which I already own and spin often)? Mine is staying sealed.Everything has chains...Absolutely nothing's changed. - PJ

because...I'm not planning on selling it at a later date....I wanna listen to it....why sit on sealed vinyl?0 -
I definately will.
I play all my vinyls, seems such a shame to never get to hear them. What's the point?

Why is it always assumed that somebody who wants to collect vinyl is planning to sale it at a later date? There are tons of people who are collectors who wouldn't part with their collection if their lives depended on it. There's nothing wrong with being a collector. There's nothing wrong with buying vinyl just to keep it sealed, as a collector's item.
That being said, I only have one PJ-related vinyl that isn't opened: my second copy of the ITW soundtrack. All my PJ stuff has been spun countless times. But I don't see any point in opening and playing this when I have a perfectly good black copy to listen to. This one is going to sound exactly the same. At the very least, I'll keep this one sealed and safe in case something happens to scratch or damage the black one. There's no way in hell I'm going to sell this white BS, but I find it nonsensical to open and spin it when I have the same record with the same sound already in my collection. It would be like buying a second truck in exactly the same year, make and model just so I have a different color to drive around in.Everything has chains...Absolutely nothing's changed. - PJ

Going apeshit in the morning... you mean like:
WHY DON'T THEY SEND OUT AN EMAIL WHEN THEY PUT STUFF ON SALE?
WHY DON'T THEY MAKE MORE?
WHY CAN'T I GET ONE?
WHY IS THE $800 WHITE VINYL $25 AND A DVD IS $60?
Just checked the board since this afternoon... you win some you lose some. My backpack came yesterday in the mail but I missed this white vinyl that I probably forgot existed until just now...
