PJ20 screening in philly (The Troc)

Anyone have any clue where it might be held? I'm thinking maybe at the Troc. They have movie night there sometimes and I saw The White Stripes "Under The Great White Northern Lights" there as a preview before it came out.

    They better not do that again, that was so lame. King of Prussia is practically the mid-west as far as most Philly people are concerned :D , or at least me. Ritz movie theatre would be more proper.

    The Ritz usually shows independent movies so I think it would be cool. They have about 8 or 9 total screens in Old City. Maybe they should play on all the screens for that one night and we can all preparty at JC Dobbs which is in walking distance. Nobody goes to these movie theaters during the week, they can miss a night and probably sell out every seat. :D

    The Frank Banko Alehouse Cinema in Bethlehem is showing Under the Great White Northern Lights and the new Foo Fighters doc this week. Would be great to screen PJ20 there. I know it's not exactly Philly, but it is right in the middle between NYC and Philly-- only an hour and a half either way.

    King of Prussia would be great....I see the new OZZY movie is at Oaks, Pa

    I have many friends from Philly and none of them will come visit me in KOP. I always have to go there. They really think it is a million miles away. Although, if I lived in the city I would probably feel the same way. 76 is no picnic and SEPTA sucks too!

    I don't care where they play it. Obviously, KOP would be most convenient but I wouldn't mind making a night of it in the city.

    K of P would be cool....But in the city would make more sense. I am sure we will hear about it soon. Maybe it will be played in multiple venues in the area, you never know!

    Troc....wow...hopefully out in the burbs! I am sure it will land on a night of work or something that will hinder my arrival...DVD will be a must buy for sure...Not sure if I want the book. Any thoughts?

    It was mentioned during the P&S show on Thursday that WMMR would be hosting the PJ20 movie screening in Philly. They talked about the Crown of Thorns release on the website and that the screening details are being worked out and would be announced in a week or so.

    i disagree. Wish the Troc didn't go thru TM and just offer the tix themselves somehow. $10 tix are now $17 after TM's bend you over fees. I will pass and just wait for the DVD
