hmm...i know i'm seeing some people getting really excited about this set list, but to this point i'm not seeing it. i mean breaking out low light is GREAT and i would have enjoyed parachutes and man of the hour...but we are talking a pretty standard issue set here with nothing too thrilling.Founding member of the "Stop the Evacuation and Riot Act Hating!" I don't know what you're looking for but it looks pretty good to me. Beside the fact they played Parachutes, the order of songs is great.insomniaisevil wrote:hmm...i know i'm seeing some people getting really excited about this set list, but to this point i'm not seeing it. i mean breaking out low light is GREAT and i would have enjoyed parachutes and man of the hour...but we are talking a pretty standard issue set here with nothing too thrilling.0

you, my friend, are quite jaded. This band puts on a thrilling show every time....what do you want, Ed to shoot lightning out of his ass?!?!?Jam out with your clam out.0

to an extent i agree, but i'm starting to feel like they are just too much of a jukebox. i mean you can count on hearing: even flow, daughter, small town, better man, do the evolution, rvm, and corduroy damn never every night or every other night. how about a set list that isn't all these standard issue songs.
i mean, i'm beyond certain this has been a nice show if you were in attendance, but i'd just like to see some variety.Founding member of the "Stop the Evacuation and Riot Act Hating!" Club -- Join Now

a little jaded?...yeah, no doubt. seeing a band a few times will do that, but at the same time i'd just like to see more variety, that's all. this band has a massive catalog, why do we have to hear SO many of the same songs over and over and over. that's all i want.Founding member of the "Stop the Evacuation and Riot Act Hating!" I went to the Boston show last night. I don't know what songs they could have taken out, but I would love to have seen Black, Small Town, and Dissident. Some songs I don't seem to get sick of hearing, or seeing."I know I was born, and I know that I'll die, but the in between is mine."

in a way i see what you're saying. they have a lot of other songs that they could play from their albums, but they also have to include the casual fan. the whole arena isn't filled with diehards. they need to have a balance...and those standards the casual fan WANTS to hear. but i see where you're coming from.I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.0
