Yeah ive been really slack in that department, tomorrow morning, I wil grab the photos from the cd's, set up photobucket or imageshack or whatever it is, and get it done.
The wife wants little ozpjman's everywhere, its inevitable, give it a few months then im in there.
I just worry about the money - she stops work, but there's extra cash you need for a new kid, dont see how we can pay for everything.
Doesnt bother her though hehe
Stars walk the red carpet because they're famous - I walk the toilet paper because im the shit.
The colours of the Toronto would look good hanging with the Clinch..:)
It would look nice with any of the Ed solo posters....they all have that gorgeous blue in them.......that's why I HAVE to have a Kenyon Hall - to complete the collection.....the 3 of them would look loverly hanging together

Yeah....I worry about the money side of it too. We're already living on one wage because Leigh's drawing full time. Luckily we don't spend a lot of money and never have been big spenders.
I've read that babies aren't that expensive.....but getting all the initial shit is....Threefish, how much extra a week does Zara cost (estimate)? Fuck all? I suppose the extra expense comes from using formula too.

No...babies don't need to be expensive....unless you're someone that thinks they have to have every baby thing in the shops and designer label baby clothes
Besides....ya get that baby bonus these days, which would more than cover everything. There's nothing wrong with hand-me-downs either.....and second hand things (eg; cot, highchair, pram etc;) are great! Babies/kids grow out of everything so quickly and that's where the cost of it starts adding up.
AND......the older they get.....the more expensive they get!!!

true. while they are young and if you are breast feeding it's just basically nappies.
but yeah, like all the shit you need to get will set you back a fuckload, like cots, prams, car seats ect.
or you could just let them sleep in a box, push them round in a shopping trolley, and gaffer tape them to the back seat of the car.
but as for how much a week i don't really know, the biggest expense is nappies and formula. nappies are about $30 for a box of 90. which doesn't last as long as you think it would and formula is about $20 a tin. which probably last a week or so.
plus food, baby food from the shops ain't cheap, but what Bianca does is just buys a whole lot of vegies, blends them up into puree and freezes it for the week.
but yeah i guess when you think about it it could be $50-$100 extra a week. but closer to $50 then $100

oh sorry for wanting my kid to look nice instead of buying clothes from Vinnies.
and with the baby bonus you don't get that til a few weeks after you spit the kid out, so you gotta have funds to buy all the essentials up front.

Not Vinnies  I mean if you have brothers, sisters, friends with kids.......get them to buy gorgeous clothes n stuff for THEIR babies and then get them to pass it on to you for your bub
Yeah I know ya don't get the baby bonus to buy the stuff before bubs born....but in the end, it evens out what you've already spent I wish it was around when I had my babies!
That's another point.....if you plan on having more than 1 baby.....a LOT of the items you have to get for the first bub can be used again for all your other babies, so it's only a once off expense.

yup, don't care if it's a boy, the little fucker is wearing pink.

Do you ever use cloth nappies or are disposables the way to go nowadays? $50 - $100 a week isn't too bad at all.
I still eat baby food....Heinz 'Potato, Pumpkin & Beef'! Mmmmmm....I buy it as a treat sometimes! Delicious!

I'm having 4...the last one is going to be pretty pissed off with its hand-me-down crap! ha ha
Do you ever use cloth nappies or are disposables the way to go nowadays?
it's just much easier to use disposable.
and i think Bianca being the smart person she is worked out cost of disposables Vs the cost and time of washing cloth and in the long run there wasn't much difference.

Disposables are by far better than cloth!!!!!!!
I did all cloth for our first bub and all disposables for the next 2.
*The cost of soaking, washing cloth nappies works out similar to the cost of buying disposable....not to mention the time it takes.
*Disposables keep bub a lot dryer.....which I found especially good for night time. One wee in a cloth nappy and the cot sheets and bub are soaking.....whereas a disposable can soak up a few wees and keep bub dry, allowing them to sleep all night
The only bad thing with disposables is the fact that it's adding to the landfill
That just reminded me of when maddi jumped in the pool wearing a nappy, as I was saying "no! take your nappy off first!" the stuff inside it (that absorbs wee) blew up like a balloon! She looked like she had a pillow wrapped around her
