Hmmm, haven't been to that one yet  Looks like a day at the beach is in order

of course you have to be familiar with the Ramones song about Rockaway.
They used to come down here all the time.
In fact, they blew the speakers off of the walls
of this old nightclub that used to be located right on the Bayside.

Wish I could join you! Missing the island already. Follow the Aylard Farm signs and then it is a short walk through an orchard to the beach.0 -

Resolute Beach, Northern Sydney.
Not the prettiest beach in the world. No surf, but it's in Sydney and nearly always there's exactly that many people there - zilch. Cos it's an utter bitch to get to.
A beach in Sydney where it's just you isn't a rare commodity- it's not supposed to exist. The solitude there is just blissful.115 bucks for half a haircut by a novice? I want my money back!0 -
thats a beautiful thought... a beach to myself. I don't think I have ever experienced that.Hinn wrote:

The coolest beach I have ever seen ( have no pics, cause they told us to leave our cameras behind due to the intense hiking required to get to the beach), was a beach cove in Haiti. It was around 25 miles south/ south-west of Porte-Prince. I was surrounded by steep hills that verged on being cliffs, and we had to hike down during low tide and leave the beach before high tide rolled in, because the waters reached the walls at the peak of high tide..but because of this, the sands and stones on the beach were perfectly rounded and appeared polished. I tried to take some out with me, but was told it was a protected site and nothing could leave.. STILL one of the most gorgeous beaches other than the beach I slept on for two weeks on Catalina Island, before the beach patrol found us and evicted us from the island..0
