 Great! Take me away!!
All I can say is wish I was there....

the sunset and a lovely greek tune or two. 0 0

Hell Fire Bay, Esperance, Western Australia.
I don't know how to upload a pic of it, which is a shame because it's definately an unknown treasure.
( apart from the fact Skylab fell on it)
and some of the most squeekiest sand in the world is found not far from here.
BEST SECRET BEACH EVER, even Opera doesn't know about it!0

At the time...I gave it a lot of thought, you know, I wasn't sure I could live on a tiny island like that.

 Blowing Rocks, Jupiter Florida.
Most of south florida is sandy beaches.
But 30-45 minutes north of me there are these huge rock formations that are fun to explore. When the ocean is grumpy and rough, the waves smash against the rocks and blow streams of foamy water dozens of feet into the air. Its quite a sight to see.Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)0

Reminds me a little of a rock formation in Door County WI on Lake Michigan.
The water sprays and has a very loud deep echo at rough times. Can't for the life of me remember the name of the place but it brings great memories... many fun times riding on the back of Buzztwin1's motorcycle

A new favourite in East Sooke Park (near Victoria, Canada) The sand was soft, and the sun was hot on an otherwise cold windy Sooke day. This beach was so sheltered we forgot it was windy! This beach also has some really cool tide pools...kept the kids busy 0 0

that looks so welcoming to me and you say cool with a hot sun ... omg that sounds great!guitar59 wrote:A new favourite in East Sooke Park (near Victoria, Canada) The sand was soft, and the sun was hot on an otherwise cold windy Sooke day. We are in daily mid 90's.
Nothing prettier to me than a really rocky beach lined in green trees!
 Thanks so much for posting.
I have been in the doldrums about no travel which is petty, I know,
but just seeing this really helps...
 I'll daydream a bit. 8-)0

I had to jump on this thread! I would say its a toss up between Scott Beach on St. John USVIs (Caneel Bay Resort)
and sitting at the Soggy Dollar Bar on White Bay, Jost Van Dyke, BVIs -See the waves on distant shores, awaiting your arrival... -See the waves on distant shores, awaiting your arrival...
