U2 - Welcome back to North America

Hi everybody.
Because my immuno-supression is highly compromised right now, I am really really sick.
I visited my workplace on Friday, and obviously caught something very damaging to my body.
I have a bad chest cold and cough right now, with extreme weakness and fatigue.
As much as it breaks my heart , I will be unale to attend the U2 concert tomorrow night at Meadowands.
If anyone is interested in my tickets, I have a pair in the lower bowl REAR STAGE ( section 101 ) .
I will also waive the service fees and accept 200 dollars for the pair- which is less than face value.
Please let me know if youre interested, i'd hate these tickets to go to waste.
Aside from being rear -view, theyre very close to the band and actually look like theyre pretty decent.
Also , keep me in your prayers as far as my health.
Thanks everybody .
Needless to say ,I'll likely be taking a break from FB and message pit for a few days. i'll check in about tickets tho )
XO

an amazing show!!! we took my 10 year old son and walked in after the main rush for GA, got a spot for him on the rail, outer circle. He loved his first U2 show.
It was very hot, but a fantastic show.
this was the setlist (very ambitious):0 -
Nice shots.
I made it out to the show , despite my hesitance with sickness. Stayed sober and drank LOTS of water.
It was too f'n hot last night.
Someoine in my section ( 101 ) passed out 2 songs in.
( dont know if it was heat or alcohol indiuced, but wow )
Even Bono referred to it saying " If you're Irish , this is very hard " .
I know he left the stage at least twice to I assume change.
I also liked the " Beautiful Day " arrangement with the space shuttle.
Cool stuff !
These shows somehow never get old .For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside

my girlfriend went to the back of the GA at the soundboard during the encore and saw Bruce Springsteen and Bono's wife there.0 -
Was there too... Amazing show... Our friend did not do well with alcohol and heat either... Incredible stage and got my favorite Stay, so I was very happy... Wished they finished off with bad and 40 but it was a late one so I get it...0

OMG
Great skit on Letterman with Bono and The Edge, in an elevator , playing "where the streets have no name" in an elevator type of music genre.
The Edge is playing a xylophone.
Funny skit !For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside

damn my seats were empty- guess i hadnt arrived yet. When did they do this shot and di they let everyone know, or was it random? You think knowing the show was sold out, theyd take it closer to U2 coming onstage, but whatever. For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside
