It just doesn't seem possible to me that there is no solution. The equivalent scenario in the US would be a promoter who refused to allow seniority seating. While that would no doubt spark a civil war here on the boards, I know in the end it would be worked out. There has to be a way to work this out.

Correct but you are complaining to the wrong people. This isn't the 10 Clubs fault.
Not to have any kind of privilege, any kind of benefit (apart from the password for pre-sale) is one thing.
It gets me sad, even angry, a little bit, sorry to admit.
But do you want to know what really scares me? What really makes me want to kill someone, if it happens?
It´s the posibility of having a VIP section for artists, actors and aaaaaall the other "personalities" when the time comes...
I mean... I HOPE with all my strentgh these gigs won´t have these areas... We´ve been around "brazilian methods" of doing things, though, and I repeat: I fear, I fear A LOT what may happen if we, loyal fans, get almost nothing and all the TV personalities without a clue on the band playing eventually get the best seats in the house...

If this isn't the Ten Club's fault, I'm not sure why it's so hard for them to make a statement on the matter. A simple statement such as "we are unable to discuss the reason, but this is beyond our control, and apologize we can't offer more to our faithful South and Central American fans", for example. Their silence on this topic suggests a real disregard for their customers, when it would be so easy to make such a statement. Or, if they are trying to figure something out, how about a "we're trying to figure something out; stand by"?

The infrastructure of ticketing technology, venues, security concerns, and promoters vary from region to region. This is is why each international tour is done a bit differently. Additionally within each region many things change as years pass, so what was possible during the 2005 tour may not apply for the 2011 tour.

Of course, but It doesn´t make sense for us. We know that things change year after year. My question still the same: How did they agree to remove benefits for those who wait for them and don´t make this clear for us.

One other thing that just dawned on me. At the PJ20 festival the Ten Club has set it up so the Ten Club area is closest to the fence on the lawn area and won't be open to non Ten Club members until fifteen minutes before PJ takes the stage essentially allowing members to have the best general admission seats. How the hell do we have this but can't get it done for our South and Central American shows? :(

the "no GA" issue is what bothers me more anyway... i used to think Pearl Jam and VIP sections were contrary concepts, that PJ and VIP were abbreviations that couldn't be in the same line.
I´m very disappointed with this ticket system and with the fact there won´t be any wristbands...
I´m even thinking of not renewing my membership next year...
In 2005 everything was perfect... we bought the tickets and we arrived earlier in the venues to collect our wristbands...

Tim: def. more consistent for all venues. There are different ticket price levels, but that's how we had to do it. There's lots of logistics with different venues/promoters, language barriers. there is no good way to do an 'early in' for 10c members
