Sounds crazy but I have been pretty craft beer'ed out this past week or so and went with a case of Dos Equis. Kind of hit the spot this weekend, actually.0

Anyone else here besides the one who suggested it try the Ithaca Excelsior stuff? I found a stash of 10 and 11 in a small town south of boston. Bought them out, and have a 12 and 13 for a rainy day. They are delicious beers.0

Middle of the NHL playoffs, I did the exact same thing.
I picked up a 6 of Stella one night to get off the craft beer kick ... it was a warm SF night and it just tasted great.
Yet, the Bruins gave up a 3 goal lead and lost to Tampa that night ... so, I didn't drink Stella for the rest of the playoffs."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

He's got a TV show called Brewmasters here in the US on the Discovery Channel ... a little staged, but still interesting.

The Chicha brew episode was ... well, kind of gross ...

Summer Solstice - Cerveza Crema
This copper colored ale is smooth, malty, and lightly sweet, with a delicate hint of spice for that oh-so-drinkable, extra velvety flavor. The character is lighter in body than its cousin, our wildly popular Winter Solstice Seasonal Ale . This is a silky, creamy dream, perfect as a warm weather beer. But why call it Cerveza Crema? Two reasons: One, this beer has become a favorite among many of our Hispanic friends, so it’s named in their honor. Two, it sounds cool, and cool is what you want when its hot. Serve at 40 to 45 degrees Fahrenheit for the most optimal flavor and enjoyment. ¡Salud!

These are some of the craft beers I've tried over the past couple of months. I can't really drink right now so I've had to space them out....when in reality I just want to drink them all NOW!!

I'm a fan of Leffe, drink it often at my corner bar ... it's like a cheaper version of Chimay White."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91

Unfortunately my mate poured it into a glass for me when it wasn't very cold and then I forgot about it for a while so it went hot REALLY quickly and I didn't really enjoy it as much as I should have. I hate warm beer. I had a Leffe Tripel a few months ago and loved that....so going to give it another go!★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★
