I've had several of the Yeti stouts (regular, Oak Aged, Chocolate Oak Aged) and they are all great. I've got an Espresso Oak Aged I'm looking forward to as well.

Keep an eye out for the Belgian Yeti...just started seeing bottles pop up. Had it at a festival and it was tasty.

  • Tried out a new lili bar the other night and tried several beers I've never had before:
    Great Divide: Titan IPA
    Lagunitas: Lucky 13
Peak: Organic Pale Ale (my favorite, I think)
    Southern Tier: Unearthly IPA
    As you can see I'm a hop-head

Will do. It hasn't made it's way down here yet.

Apparently there's a distribution shortage of Two Hearted here in Florida right now. It's one of my favorites as well. I picked up the Sam Adams Latitude 48 Deconsructed mix pack today. Looking forward to trying the different hop varieties and how they add different components to a decent IPA.

The Deconstructed mix pack is great. Sorry about the Two Hearted shortage, I'll try not to drink so much.

There is a local brewery that makes an awesome Pumpkin Porter. It's only available for a couple months and they only sell it at the brewery/restaurant...although you can purchase a growler of it to bring home. People will literally line the block before Thanksgiving, growlers in hand in order to get some for Thanksgiving.
    Mmmm!

I was in Michigan this weekend and had some delicious Octoberfest from a local brewery in Sawyer. The name of the brewery is Greenbush and they're about to expand to the Chicago market. Definitely try it if you see it pop up in your area, it was incredible!
