anyways... you know what... weddinsg are a crazy thing... they make you go a little nutty at times... so if you have a mound of Paper, and you really dont know why... its okactually... i think the only odd part about that story is that Jason didnt complain... something is very wrong there girl!!
One thing to remember... the different merits of one Red over another.... no one at the wedding is gonna even notice it! All eyes will be on you and Jas... so just go with it girl! Seriously..
Pleased to meet you Trudie!! All very salient points by the way, and none of which I realised until after I walked out of the store and regained normal brain function!! The problem was that I went in there with my 'bride brain', the one that thinks that getting the exact shade of red is of the utmost importance! I am going to have to give myself a lobotomy I think!!!! Jason was actually pretty helpful, it was him who came up with the idea of how to design the whole thing so we can cram as much info as possible into it (we're having 3 inserts for invite, wishing well, and accommodation), and it was also him that found one of the paper designs, and the silver string and heart that we're wrapping around the outisde of the invites. They will look awesome, if I can get Microsoft Word to do what I want!!! But yeah, I owe Jase a big one for doing the whole shopping without complaining thing, that's not usually his style at ALL!!!!! He's much more of a footy and beer kinda guy!1998 Brisbane night 2

No labotomy needed.... it will mend itself the day after all the festivities!!
I thought about doing the invites, wishing well and rsvp myself.. then i found a website that did it all for me!! Well how about that! It was so much freakin easier... yeah i know... no brain power needed for my planning!!
Still havent done my Thankyou... i must get them done this week dammit! I will... stop procrastinating...one day
Sounds like you have a keeper there Mel! My other half is the best ever... but organising wedding stuff.... not a fuckin chance in hell!he who forgets will be destined to remember0 -

LMAO!! Am very surpsied at the leve of involvement shown actually, but also eternally grateful because he's one of those people that gets stuff done the most easiest and efficient way possible without even trying. I looked at the internet sites and stuff, and decided that I could probably save money doing ti myself and also there was not a lot of pretty choices with the red so stupid me thoguth that it wouldn't be too big of a task to do myself!!! Again, I am roping Jason in to do the practical stuff and I'll do the fiddly little bits (like the gluing and the wrapping and tying and what not!). We aren't having RSVP cards so that's a good thing, however will have to do the place cards, menus, and table numbers. Not having an order of service so that's a HUGE relief!! Givent hat the wedding isn't until September 1 I have a fair bit of time up my sleeve, half of which will no doubt be spent procrastinating! It's how I got thru uni!!!!
Anyway, off to bed for me, will be back tomorrow. Jase and Nick are off to a mate's buck's night which starts at 9:30am tomorrow morning so I won't see them until Sunday, which is probably a good thing. His mate is getting married 'becasue everyone else is', and is marrying a 21 yr old nut job (he's 27, and she loves playing house it appears and wishes no more than to have babies ASAP) who was pressuring him into marriage from the second they met pretty much, but he's a big boy so he can take care of himself (not surpsingly he has had absolutely no invovlement in the wedding plans, and couldn't tell us the date of the wedding until a wee or two ago, scary stuff, I'd kick Jason's behind if he behaved that way!!)1998 Brisbane night 2

Happy day before Easter to everyone. I went downtown this mroning, and there were a lot of people having a very UNhappy day before Easter!! Given that I was down there to buy Easter eggs I wasn't the chirpiest person on the planet, but was a lot less cranky than most!
I got a new phone the other day, and now I have the true tone of Betterman as my ringtone, very exciting stuff given my last ringtone was a poly version of Summer of 69!!!1998 Brisbane night 2

Someone before mentioned people eating Big Macs on Good Friday. ALL of my friends eat meat on Good Friday. Leigh and I ate prawns for breakfast, prawns for lunch and prawns and fish for dinner! Our friends are actually shocked that we choose not to eat meat on GF.
How many people here still follow the "no meat on Good Friday" tradition? I thought the majority of people did.★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★
