I do a good Bruschetta-inspired sambo:
Fresh french baguette cut on a bias and lightly buttered
Homemade pesto
Fresh sliced buffalo mozzerella
Thinly sliced tomato
Very thinly sliced red onion
throw that baby on the panini press or cook in the skillet

My favorite sandwich is a vegetarian pita from a place called 'Greek Delights' in Montclair, NJ. And, for dessert, I get one piece of the best baklava ever from 'Beyond Pita', also in Montclair.

you must try it! sooo good and simple to make. Biggest pain in the ass is breaking out the food processor to make the pesto. You could always just use whole basil leaves or buy store bought pesto instead.dr0ptheleash wrote:
