    I must admit that I am pretty ignorant on this topic. But I do believe Obama to be a liar and a crook. So it wouldn't surprise me one bit if it is a fake. But I think there are much more important issues than where he was born for which he should be held accountable.

    I kind of agree with Lizard, but I do think the timing with Osama was a bit odd...but, at this point, who cares?? He's almost served his term...'they''re always going to debate this.. he's already been president..they can't rescind that. Can't negate the past few years. He did his 'job', I guess. As has been previously stated, it doesn't seem as though he could have even been nominated for the presidency were he not a US citizen. But, again, the timing is weird (Osama, re-election campaign)...although I don't doubt his citizenry, the timing seems a bit of some type of ploy..and Donald Trump comes to mind, also.. it's just like the 'powers that be' waited until the sh*t was almost hitting the fan.
    p.s...EDIT: Admittedly, I hadn't even read this article before I made this post, and I just retroactively clicked on the link and saw Donald Trump's name in the first paragraph....had no idea. :?
    EDIT continued...furthermore, if the FBI has irrefutable 'proof' as is stated in this article, how in the world did he ever become president, regardless of his 'camp'??!?! I can only hope this is not true...hype...otherwise, it is a very sad state of affairs for this country...I can't imagine how or WHY the accomplishment of his presidency would trump such an issue.

    Embleve, the timing was a bit odd for the release of his birth cert but as you said it really don't matter,can you imagine the historical scandal that it would cause if it was a fake ?

    The parameters of this theoretical question would have to include a white presidential canidate that was born in the U.S. and then spent his childhood growing up in a foreign country. Let's use the Governator as an example.

    If Schwarzenegger was theoretically born in Alaska and then spent his childhood in Austria, I believe that their would be the same percentage minority of conspiracy theorists on the Dem's side that wouldn't let the issue drop if he was in the presidential race ... especially if his handlers pussy-footed around the issue for nearly three years and wouldn't allow Arnie to directly address the issue himself.

    Obama's handlers are the ones that should be blamed for allowing this issue to percolate to the point that Donald Trump had to flush Obama from the bushes. They should have followed Deputy Barney Fife's advice .... You've got to nip it in the bud!

    uhhhh ... there are a lot of people who are upset at his presidency but the majority still understand he was born in the US ...
