After camping at Sleepy Bear last year in Noblesville with Indifferentman , I said, "Im never fucking doing that again...". But, my wife and I decided to join the fun at Country View, Fri thru Sun. We gonna have another couple with us too, so I'm pretty sure we'd be in for the shuttle too.

FYI for those still thinking about it. Just booked a site a few minutes ago and I asked how many sites were still available, and the lady said "about 20".

Keeping my fingers crossed for good weather!

I was at Sleepy Bear last year as well. What a mess. Ha Ha. Lets hope the weather is better... I'm pretty sure Country View isn't as liberal as Sleepy Bear with loud partying going on into the night, but there isn't really much to choose from.

Ha, since it says "quiet time" is at 10pm, I'm guessing we might find out how strict they are on that when our bus comes rollin' in at 2am.

As far as a departure time goes, we might just want to be there by noon on Sat for the people that want to see some of the earlier bands. Like JS said, 11ish would be good for that. If you aren't interested in the early bands, you can hang by the bus and tailgate. As for us personally, we figured one day we'd head in right away and check everything out, and the other day, we might hang out in the lot and take in a little more tailgate action.

My sister & I will be joining this crew, I think. Just need to talk w/ her to be sure she's in. My tent will be the one w/ the state flag of Florida planted outside.

If the quote for bus & driver was for one day, don't forget to multiply by 2 for Sat + Sun.

We'll need to be on the shuttle both days!

HA HA yeah, that was a fucking mess. I've never been to a "campground" that has "cold water showers" and not even a fucking FAUCET for water on the grounds! I didn't think I'd be camping in some burnt out hippie's back yard. I will say that the night after the concert was fun hanging out around the campfire.

A hell of a lot can change in 8 years, but I was at Country View in 03 for PJ and they never really bugged us. We had about a dozen people around a campfire with an acoustic guitar and nobody gave us shit.

I think going in when gates open would be good. If you don't want to go in to the venue right away you can chill out and party in the lot. Especially if we can bring coolers and grills. Honestly that's the real reason I want to get there early. I figure I'll spend most of one day out there when I have reserved tickets and stay in on my lawn day.

And by the way, you guys are fucking AWESOME for putting this together so quickly! God damn it why can't it be Sept yet?

I agree. I would think the tailgating would be more fun at the venue with all the other fans, and it would be nice to have the option to see the early music. Wouldn't be surprised to see an Eddie solo set early in Saturday's show.

We're booked now for 3 nights. The employee told me they're trying to place us all together on the campground.

Add us 2 to the shuttle ledger.

Awesome, I'll have to call back and tell them I'm there for the show. I booked it the Friday before the announcement because I was hearing so many rumors.

I may be up to 6 people including myself at my site. A few are still not 100%. Probably would all take the shuttle, but I'll let you know for sure when I know, or when you need to know. Count me for 6 as of now though.

I just called to see if they could move my site by the other people there for the show and they said pretty much the whole place will be concert goers! :D She said they'll be putting families there for Labor Day up front.
