Yeah but that still only explains the difference in shipping cost. But the major price difference isn't in the shipping cost it is in the actual price of the deluxe pack. If they both cost $169 then I only had to pay $40 shipping and get it in 8 weeks or pay $75 shipping and get it in a week then it would make sense. But at the moment I pay the exact same amount for shipping no matter which option I go with. But the actual product is $30 more when it should technically be about $15 less due to the high Aussie dollar. Not more.
Which is what I'm saying. Shipping cost/arrival time isn't even the issue.
I emailed the Ten Club and they have told me that we can now buy it through them. They also mentioned that delivery times to Australia have been 3-4 weeks, worst case.
I'm going to go ahead and order it through the Ten Club. Hopefully it gets here in one piece.
It seems obvious that Sony set a price for the box set (wrongly) assuming that the Australian dollar would fall but it has done the complete opposite. And they now don't want to look at the price again.

Really!! Wow, he seems like a pretty cool guy. I was watching a video on youtube the other day of them live on stage and he pulls some bloke on stage and they are mucking around and hitting each other. Then he gives him a microphone and they start singing together. Pretty funny! I would like to see them live, I have heard very good things.

Today I've received the 3-disc boxset. Together with the 6-track download I only miss the songs Animal, Go and I've Got A Feeling from the 1994 Orpheum concert. Does anyone know where I can possibly download these tracks? I don't really care about the quality, all I wan't is to have some kind of a complete document...

If they play a club show near you i would stongly recommend checking them out. They are phenomenal live in a small venue, but the act is lost on a bigger stage, I felt for them at the free RATM show....it just didnt work.
YEAH!!!! got my super deluxe box set today finally!!!!!!! But now my ten club membership just expired and i am broke from this box set to renew it, thankfully they give us a 3 month grace period to renew, lol anyways box set kicks major ass, love it!!!!!

You don't need to be no engineer dweeb to know that these versions are starkly different to the originals and not in a good way, have you played the original back to back with the new versions.
The sound is murky and there is no defintion, the drums have lost all their power, these remasters are utterly shocking and I have to ask if PJ actually signed off on these and why? they do no favour to these albums, my 17 year old copy of Vitalogy and 18 year old copy of Vs wipe the floor with these very nicely packaged but inferior so called audiophile versions.
Trades descriptions act springs to mind! Audiophile should mean superior, they aren't by a long shot!
Thanks for input... original releases prob will wait awhile. Seen some on eEbay and the prices were pretty high for a newbe like myself. Not saying its not worth it (ten club please note) but i got to get myself a player soon and some concert tickets next week. Buying a player, what a chore this is... everything is technique sl1200 $$$ .... looking at Pro-Ject turntables and audiotechnica. Project higher end $300+ and AT lower $100+. Excellent reviews on both are good.
I know ass backwards but I figure I get the lps before they sell out and im stuck without anything.
