    One time, a few years ago i was sitting outside at a coffee shop in london, while on holiday, and Norm from cheers walked passed, with a bunch of kids, then shortly after passed again. there was a theatre next door. so he might've been in there. I wanted to get up and speak to him, but didn't want to pester him with all those kids.

    wish i did though... nevermind

    Well ya see Norm, it's like this...A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and the weakest ones at the back the are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeep improving be the regular killing of the weakest members. in much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain bells. In this way regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers.

    saw that this show was added (and that netflix finally put all of a show's seasons under one listing) and watched a couple. i've really soured on sitcoms as i've grown older, but i'll be damned if i ever sour on cheers. back in high school cheers was on repeats after the news every night, and i am 99% certain i saw every episode of the show at some point. now i can find out.

    Thank You Sir, Thank You. This show was the best, you could have a shit day, a shit week, but on Thursday night, you could crash on the sofa and as soon as that music started, everything was going to be o.k.
