I just paid 26.75 COD - still not sure why it cost me 40 in shipping to be slapped with this, yet the set seems awesome nonetheless. Dimi, do you need me to scan that artwork for you?

That's brutal. When i order from amazon.com the duties usually work out to be about 10% of the purchase price.

    What a debacle.

    Ten Club,

high time you guys looking into a self storage unit just north of the border, could avoid all these border problems through something like that. Also, shipping would be both fast and cheap.

My wife and I have our own business and we have to order books that are any where from 300-600 dollars each. These books are some times as big as 12x12 in size and very heavy. Sometimes we have to order anywhere from 1-5 of those at a time. Never been charged customs, this company that we order from is based out North Carolina. That being said they have worked out a shipping solution with UPS for Canadian Customers.

I sent 10c an e-mail stating how much I paid and that I hope they take a different road for shipping next time. Very politely of course. Just to have my voice heard, no big deal. They sent an e-mail back blaming the Canadian government (fair enough) and re-sending all the fine print about customs haha. So I guess it is what it is....

...and just to be clear I am 100% happy with my purchase. One thing you can never knock the 10c for is the packaging. I always get everything mint from them.

  • arrived in London, ON...$26.75 in fees

looks pretty good, but pricey with the shipping and fees

only complaint is the orpheum cd tracklisting when put into itunes doesn't bring up song titles, I had to manually add everything

My LP copy of VS skips about 10-15 seconds into 'Go'. I hear, chk, chk, chk about 7 or so times and only out of the right speaker. Does anyone else have this issue?

Anyways... now that my gripe about the shipping is done..

    VERY NICE BOXED SET!!! :)

I'm fucking so happy I bought this. Aside from the shipping costs. A collection like this doesn't come around a lot. I love that Pearl Jam is doing this with all the albums... even though it costs so much.

However... here's what I think SHOULD have been added:

1: Hard to Imagine on Vs. (come on... how did they miss this?)
2: A 7" vinyl for Merkinball (How did they miss THIS???)
3: They release "Brother" when the Ten Re-Issue came out... why not release Hard To Imagine or Hold On now???

    Just my thoughts. :)

This happened to nearly every European country that ordered the Super Deluxe Ten Boxed Set.
It didn't happen this time, as Sony sold Europe the set, not 10 Club. The Sony ordering page asked us to pick our country, and it factored in the tax to the final cost on the pre-order. No surprises this time. I feel your pain though, from the time of the Ten Box...

The extra 26.50 in charges is total crap. 10c needs to find a better way of shipping these. That said....
Amazing box, BUT my litho of the whole band has a hugely crumpled corner, like it got crumpled going into the envelope thing.

Well I am waiting for my box set to arrive, but when I got the ten boxset 2 years ago on the Drop In The Park LP right at the end of porch where it really starts to climax in the song it skips quite a few times always did since it was first opened, so i dunno if it was a defect in the vinyl or just a bad copy I got.

Same here. Luckily my pay day is Thursday so they just gotta hold off till then haha either that or not take the money at all. Do we know if it's just us or has this happened with lots of people?
