I got my Deluxe set here in NYC on wednesday, the download was sent to me on tuesday. If you dont have it,Im sure you will get it very soon. The download is really 5 songs,Jam is not a song IMO,and could have just continued after YL, since its only 2 min.Ive Got A Feeling ended the gig,and I would have loved a great version of that classic.I like the set,the extras are nice.I just wish the Boston gig was the whole show.I still love the famous Atlanta gig more (04.03.94) and think it sounds better than the Orpheum release.Iam grateful for another good sounding show from 1994.Does anyone know of another great sounding boot from this tour?
There was an explanation as to why the show was not issued complete, the tracks not included on the either the CD or download were incomplete or had tape errors.
I would technically break this tour down in 2 parts, Fall 1993 and Spring 1994, though the general tenor of the band was the same and obviously early renditions of the Vitalogy tracks began showing up in earnest in the Spring, though Last Exit, Tremor Christ and Whipping had appeared during the fall. There are many dozens of excellent recordings from this touring period. Mostly audience recordings but the best are in my opinion in terms of SOUND QUALITY
November 5, 1993 - Indio CA, the infamous Shoes for my Friends show.
November 12, 1993 - Dallas TX, great set including one of only a few playings of Angel.
November 17, 1993 - New Orleans LA, excellent excellent show.
March 29, 1994 - St. Petersburg FL
April 6, 1994 - Springfield MA
April 17, 1994 - New York City NY - very hard edged show
This is NOT to say these were the best shows, that is to say I find them to be the combination of very good performances as transmitted by very good to great recordings.
Just to remark about the level of vitriol toward 10C that I have sometimes seen on this board. I think we need to make sure we are distinguishing between "anger" and "mild disappointment from having to wait a few extra days for an awesome product that we are very excited about receiving and listening to."
-Ryan
Here's my problem with this: I ordered this about 2 months ago. I feel that as fan club members, we should be getting these before we could just go buy it at the store. I've already been waiting forever, and one of my friends is already listening to the re-issues. That's BS.
I see. I guess I was talking about the Super Deluxe, which as I understand it is not available in stores.
-R
I also ordered the Super Deluxe, and I appreciate all of the extras (9 pounds!), but honestly, this is just really frustrating. I wasn't lashing out at you personally or anything, but I stand by what I said. I feel that we should get SOME advantage as pre-order customers and/or fan club members, especially when we paid so much money and ordered it so long ago.

You did get an advantage. You got the 6 song download. It has already been explained that the sets were 3 weeks late being delivered to 10club. They just got them a week ago. Everyone calm...patience...
I am jealous. I pre-ordered this thinking it would arrive by the release date, fooled me again. Next time I will go to Best Buy and get it on time. I had taken time off to be able to sit down and really check this out. Tomorrow's my last day off of said mini-vacation, and still no Super Deluxe Edition...got the six bonus live songs though, guess that's something.
there is no super deluxe at best buy
Thanks for info. NewJPage, but Super Deluxe isn't my first burn with Pre-Orders here.
Got burned on BACKSPACER, too, which WAS available at Best Buy. I just think it's a poor business practice to con people into a Pre-Order and then not get them what they pre-ordered by the street date. When I worked at a music store and we took pre-orders, we guaranteed the customer the product they were pre-ordering by the release date of said product. Ten Club used to work that way, too. I got PEARL JAM through Ten Club the day BEFORE it was released.
I guess it is somewhat comforting to know that in this particular case, I didn't have any choice though.
Sitting in rainy Seattle wishing that home town fans would be the 1st to get the box set. Good thing I ordered it 2 months ago. Is there somewhere I can physically drive to pick up the delux box set?
Sorry but this is pathetic. I'll never pre-order another item from the Ten Club. I could have walked across the street to Dimple Records and had it days ago. Can't believe I didn't. I keep trying to give the Ten Club the benefit of the doubt and I keep getting nothing in return. I'll probably never drop my membership because I've had it so long but I'm starting to wonder what's point. The only way to get tickets is to have internet access the minute they go on sale (always doing work) and even then your guaranteed nothing. This website is the only example I can think of where technology has actually made the process more difficult.

Oh brother... Come on guys, the SDE wasn't even in the stores! I don't have mine yet and I'm OK with that, Would I have liked to have had it today?, yesterday?, sure. But I'm a big boy. Nothing is pathetic here; just listening to something else until it comes.
...I thought the world, turns out the word thought me
I emailed shipping@tenclub.net - and received a tracking number. According to it, it left Auburn, WA at 5:08 AM Pacific Time this morning (Friday). It should (key word SHOULD) be here tomorrow
Also, according to the manifest, it weighs 10.078 pounds!
If this shipping experience is anything like the Ten Box Set, I should expect to have to sign for it, otherwise expect a note on my door saying something along the lines of "Sorry we missed you - we'll try back the next business day." That dragged on for about a WEEK until I got the gumption to leave a note for the mail carrier that said "PLEASE CALL THIS NUMBER IF I'M NOT HERE - I CAN BE THERE IN 5 MINUTES OR LESS!"

My Super Deluxe Edition from the Ten Club arrived earlier today 4-1-2011 on my front door here in Columbus, Ohio. I never did get a tracking number in email, just an email on March 27th saying my order was processed. The delivery guy just left it on the porch. I didn't even know it was there until I opened the door. (But when I opened the door I could see it on the porch but it didn't wave.)
