Does anybody think that it would be too ambitious to do Les (4:15-4:55) > Raconteurs (5:00- 5:35) > State Radio (5:45-7:15)? Priority #1 between these three is State Radio. Would I be better off to just forget about the Raconteurs and secure a good spot for SR?
    I'd shoot for all three

For all you lucky folks that are going to be at the Roo, try to go and check out the JanSport tent at some point. I created an original illustration that was printed onto these foldable travel mp3 player speakers. They plug right into your player through the headphone jack and sound pretty good. There will be limited quantities so head on over and try to score a pair.

    Cheers and have fun!

Went and did a grocery run this morning. Just have to pick up a few perishables ( fruit, frozen OJ). Still trying to decide if I want to cook up breakfast. If so, eggbeaters and some bacon. In VIP and I am so against the cooking thing and my little brain keeps telling me I DON"T WANT TO COOK ON MY VACATION! I guess I can skip it. But the thought of a breakfast before a big day just seems kinda worth it. See, flip flop, just like a stupid politician.

Hey Sprunkn7, don't forget the VIP buffet doesn't start until Thursday evening, and closes at 9:00pm each night. You still might want to be able to cook something simple like hot dogs. I'm taking a small propane stove to cook breakfast and some other easy to cook food.

mmm, breakfast. Last year I was in VIP (same this year), but I didn't eat until lunch was served. I recommend bringing something to eat in the morning, alghough last year on Saturday and Sunday I was able to drive out to Srtarbucks for a coffee and air conditioning in the morning which was great : )

Anyone wanna cook me breakfast? kidding ; )

20-40% chance of rain- not bad. Looks like it's just gonna be nice and cloudy with little rain :)

Thanks for the update..that still seems hot, but not as hot as last year.

Still should be a break from this temperature in Toronto. Right now it's 98F with the humidity (88 w/o).

Yeah, I think breakfast is the ticket. I don't think we will want to stoke up the grill in the PM.
Precooked bacon, sausage, eggs. And maybe some shakeumup pancake mix. We will have bread, so french toast too. OK Sold. And Fruit. Like Oranges, grapes and apples.

For those who need to loosen up the old headbangin' muscles for Metallica on Friday, you may want to check out these guys on Thursday from 10:30-11:30.

Slight change for mine since they moved Kanye to late night Saturday.

    Thursday

Playing it by ear early the first day
    VIP party at 8:00pm
    MGMT
    Battles
    Dark Star Orchestra

    Friday

Drive-By Truckers or Electric Apricot in the cinema tent
    Stephen Marley
    Les Claypool
    The Raconteurs
    Willie Nelson
    Chris Rock
Metallica for a short time then get my seat for
    My Morning Jacket

Skipping the Superjam unless I get word that someone from PJ is part of it. I'll also check out the pit sometime Friday to see if I want to be in it for PJ the next night.

    Saturday

Get a spot in line for the pit early or a spot as close to the 2nd barrier (right behind the pit) as I can.

Might sneak away for some of Cat Power
    B. B. King
    Jack Johnson
    Pearl Jam
    Sigur Ros
    Kanye West

    Sunday

Harrybu McCage on the Sonic Stage
    O.A.R.
    Robert Plant & Alison Kraus
    Death Cab for Cutie
Listen to WSP from camp while getting some gear together

Does the huge open slot on the What stage on Sunday afternoon intrigue anybody? Nobody plays until 3:45. Any chance they drop somebody big on us? Neil? Clapton? Ben Harper? Wilco? Skynyrd? Defintely not LZ, but I think they will fill this with somebody.

Well it does seem to remove the curfew from Pearl Jam, which is intriguing.
