thank you. all i was saying is that it's hard for some people and i realize the east coast had our share of pj shows but i hate those people who are yelling at us, those people who are like "STOP COMPLAINING I'M FROM CHINA AND I'M GOING AND MY BILL WILL BE $20938492749874238974293842937 SO FUCK OFF!" or "STOP COMPLAINING YOU GUYS GET A LOT OF SHOWS WE ONLY GET ONE AND YOU COMPLAIN!" it's hard for some people. i'm not complaining, i'm venting. and if there are people out there that are having a hard time getting to PJ20 because it's at alpine valley (and would probably have a hard time getting there if it was anywhere else) then they should be able to be upset that it's hard and a bitch and a half to get there. that's all i'm saying.

btw. i used $1,300 of my stafford loan to fund my 5 show road trip in '08. no regrets. still paid for college.

    Kind of figured :-)

I'm closing in on 34 with a 2 year old. Makes going on those multiple day excursions a bit more challenging. We will probably try to get away for a couple of days to see an Ed show if he plays reasonably close to us, but Alpine is kind of out of the question.

Challenging, yes, but just wait until he/she is older and you can take him/her with you. I took my ten year old son to see Linkin Park (his favorite ban) in January - we ended up on the front rail and had a great time!

For sure...this is just that weird in between age. We've left him with my parents for 1 night, but never multiple nights in a row. I think that might be asking too much of them at this point.

I can't wait till i can take him to a Pearl Jam show!
