I hope so bad its not at Alpine, for no other reason than to show how silly it is for people to go on these rumors. It would be great to see all these confused fans. Do I believe it might be at Alpine? Yes, I do. Having worked at a venue in the past, there is this thing bands do, called a hold. This has come up on this board before. Bands hold a venue sometimes when planning a tour, and until things are official, they can release that hold. So is it entirely possible there is a hold on Alpine for a weekend in late summer. Absolutely. There might also be holds at 2 or 3 other places. Jeff just said the band will be visiting the potential sites in early April. A band member just said that, but people still want to go off what their friends neighbors ex-wife told them. People need to chill out. We will know everything probably in April (source: an actual band member) and if things get delayed a little, May will still be plenty of time to plan a trip to wherever it is. I really hope I get the chance to laugh at all these Alpine threads sometime in the next month or so.

I like how everyone who lives within an hour drive of this thing thinks everyone else is bitter about it. No hate or disrespect implied (I can only speak for myself) on this one. I would just rather see Ed solo close to home and *hopefully* PJ as a whole in Boston as well by the end of the year. God forbid I have an opinion :roll:

I ain't bitter, just saying I'll drive ANYWHERE! Obviously I'm happy if it is Alpine Valley, but just as happy if I get tix to the show anywhere in the US!

i'm going. i don't care where it is (well maybe a little, i dunno if i can make it to easter island) it's just so fucking difficult when i don't have the luxury of constant income and the ability to save up for this stupid thing nor do i have the luxury of being old enough to rent a car even if i could drive so yeah if i hear someone tell someone who can't make it to fuck off one more time.... fuckin alpine valley....

There are some really really nice, cool, generous people around here....and then you have the elitist snobs who tell people to fuck off, think ticket prices are too low, and wish death on you for questioning the band or Ten Club. Try to focus on the good people. I wish there was a way to block certain posters from what you see. I'm sure quite a few would block me but regardless, try not to let them bring you down. It's 100% ok for you to not be down with Alpine Valley.

I agree. There are some great people around here, but there are a few that make me groan when I see them appear in a thread. Its like they are thread kryptonite.

(HTYC is not one of these people. I bought a poster from him last year and he was a great guy to deal with.)
