I don't know, the Italy DVD looks pretty good in my opinion. I'm too old to keep up with technology (and I'm not 40 yet)

There is a minimum of ~2x the amount of pixels on the screen on the lowest-res Blu-Ray releases, and that goes up to about 5.5x as many as DVDs on a 1080p release. Much of the Immagine in Cornice was shot in HD, meaning that they have done a detriment to that release by putting it only on DVD. It could be perceived as twice to five times as detailed to one's eyes.

I used to not care...but now my old tired eyes need the large screen and the high def picture, and the DVDs really do not look as good, or sound as good.
But I will buy the DVD and watch it just the same!

Do we really need to see Eddie in high definition? do we want to see his wrinkles and beard in HD?

My local Target sells out of Blu-Ray more quickly than DVD. When I went to get 127 Hours and the Fighter over the last few new release tuesdays I have been shut out. Now that you can get a player for less than 100.00 and some of the older titles end up being sold for 10.00 the format has taken off.

Just make a combo pack like every other release these days. Blu-ray, DVD and digital download for one price.

If this and the PJ20 movie are only released in DVD, I will be so disappointed. It makes absolutely no sense to release it in just DVD.

We probably won't get those until 2056 when 6D TV's are released.
