Long Beach pleeeeeease be true. I shit myself when I saw the date because I thought I had tickets to an Angels baseball game the same night, but fortunately those tickets are for July 8th so I'm 100% in for this show (if it happens).

ANYWHERE in the southwest would be great. Red Rocks is too big for EV solo. Ed could play any of these smaller cities that the whole band never comes to. Blah blah blah PJ doesn't sell out when they play the midwest, south, southwest blah blah blah... well EV plays smaller places so if he WANTED to he could play these places that never get any PJ love. He probably just doesn't want to (as usual).

Anyone got any idea how many shows he will play? Just a ball park? Hate to be pessimistic but we are all trying / hoping to get one of 10 shows. EV doesn't seem to play very many on these solo tours. I am confident he will play some east coast and west coast shows. CA, WA, NY, MA, etc.

I would kill if he could just give me Austin... even on a Wednesday night - I would burn 2 holidays for the opportunity to drive 3 and 1/2 hours each way to see him play.... but I won't even get that privilege

I've decided IF there is a Vedder solo tour, I think I'd rather make it to one of those solo shows than to PJ 20 in Wisconsin. I have yet to experience an Ed solo show, and feel let down that I did not make more effort to make it to one of the shows in '08 or '09 (he played my birthday in NYC in '08, or was it '09?, and I was in Maui about 3 weeks before the shows there).
I'd have to see which bands are also on PJ 20, but if it's Sonic Youth and Sleater Kinney, I'm really not gonna bust my balls to spend $1000-2000 to get to two nights in a row in Wisconsin. Bring on the EV shows.
