    it's nice to see my original post is still going strong. I was surprised, and tentative when I first came across that site, but now they're adding more dates so it looks to be holding true. didn't want to be the guy starting rumor threads :)

    Not to add feul to the fire here, but I was just listening to the radio here in Detroit, and they were rattling off a list of acts coming into town, and sure enough they said Eddie was coming to the Fox Theatre in Detroit.

    I am hoping what I heard wasn't wishful thinking on my behalf haha. Fingers crossed!

    Wow, Thanks for the heads up!! Lets hope the rumors are true. I have been hoping for a Fox Theater show since the first solo tour. That would be sweet!

Mike and Jeff are out on the road to have fun playing music and Ed is out to make money. Which is fine....it's his life and his prerogative. I just wouldn't do it that way and I am discussing that because it's a discussion board. End of story :mrgreen:

    There are a few different ways to look at this though. If he was able to keep his ticket prices at like 40-50 bucks, you'd have a much more difficult time getting tickets. many, many more folks would be fighting for them.

    I respect your opinion man, but I cant stand when people say shit like Mike and Jeff are doing it to have fun, and Ed is only out to make money. You have no idea why dude.

    The capacity of the Fox Theatre is approx 5,000. This is large as far the ed solo shows are concerned. There should more 10c tickets than normal available.

    Either that Detroit date or the rumored 6/25 Philly date is probably incorrect, since that's a really long trip. But hopefully both cities get a show.

    I just called the Wang Center in Boston and spoke with a woman who said that Ed is scheduled to come there "but something is changing...don't know what." Maybe the date, who knows? I asked about Celtic Thunder and they said that's not coming until the fall.

    Agreed, thats a lot of land to cover in one night. Also a few spots in between that should get a show as well.

    That's the date I heard on WRIF earlier too. I wasn't 100% certain thats what I heard until I saw someone else heard the same thing haha
