Hey Chris - heard the great news about EV and immediately thought of you, this thread, and all who've faithfully participated in it's vapor trail. Congrats on your persistance...it will be a great day!!! 8-)
    Thanks Steve!

    Ready for tonight????

Yes I am! 8-) Although I still think any wins at this point are just gravy. Still on a high from last week.

Also...EV in Prov would be a great thing...PPAC is awesome!
I love to turn you on

I think everyone is still high from last week. I bought the shirt and hat on Tuesday at school. Wearing it today but disappointed I have to miss most of it because I have a night class.

Haha. I know I've said this before but Congrats Chris... On the other hand, anyone know if PPAC is larger seating capacity than the Vets Memorial Auditorium in Providence? They haven't played Providence since 91-93, it's not even listed on this site. I'm there yesterday :)

This is a great day to be off from work. Looking forward to walking the dogs this morning and lighting the grill later on. Good times ahead.

Gonna do the same thing myself, Mr. JimmyV. Grillin sounds real good right about now.

Newch, I listened to Double Fantasy on record last night. Im sorry, but I had forgotten how bad the Yoko songs are. There's maybe one of those tracks of hers thats palatable for me. Please enlighten me on what I'm missing with these Yoko songs. It's barely music to me. And I'm a fan of experimental stuff.

I don't listen to her songs. I can tell you she was way ahead of her time and she's now getting her credit from artists today.

I love John's stuff. I think it's some of his best stuff he ever recorded.

Oh yeah, the John songs on DF are beyond awesome. Fantastic songwriting. And I love Yoko as the muse that drove John creatively thru the 70s, but her songs are too much for me.

He should've put his songs from DF and M&H together. She was definitely a great inspiration to him, especially the Mind Games album.

Lots colder today, around 40, very windy. Made for a chilly run this morning.

But by June, Mr. Edward Vedder will be enjoying beautiful New England weather. 8-)

Maybe he'd like to hang out at the Tiki Bar and go for a tour of the Boston Harbor Islands on the Salty Dog II. We can take 8 people aboard.

What say you, Newch? How about a little boat ride during EVCT/EVMA?
