And it didn't cost me a dime; just a year and a half of adventure, heartbreak, insanity, and the absolute most unfathomable period of my life. I feel like I can never go back to living just one life again. But goddamn, she is a thing of beauty.

    My precious.

Long story short: met the girl who won the vinyl (not with the intent of getting it from her, mind you); spent almost a year building the most unique friendship I've ever had with anybody; fell in love with the girl (despite all social taboos and obstacles); went through a five month period completely obliterating the world, adventuring in ways we never thought we'd adventure, living life in a way I've always wanted to live it, and rebelling against every thing that came our way; realized recently that everything was an illusion, that nothing is real, that nothing means anything; decided to say goodbye, at which point I was given the vinyl.

There's so much more to it than that, but it wouldn't be comprehensible.

Not for nothing but that's a pretty good story in its own right! Good for you dude!

There's a really great song lyric just waiting to be written about that relationship; you can already see the bones of it there.

Something joyful sounding like GTF, probably mid-tempo; a transition to a slower, sadness-tinged bridge for the part starting with "realized recently..." and then kick it back up to reprise the feel of the beginning of the song, but with more emotion, a mix of passion and anguish and acceptance. The vocal delivery would be crucial -- you guys have any idea who could pull it off?
