It seems that both Obama and the visible Republican possibilities are all far too polarizing to catch those swing voters necessary to be elected. Who knows? Maybe this next election will be the one in which a third party finally gets a crack at the presidency? Libertarian, anyone? A guy can dream, can't he?

I like most of the democrat ideas of government but as far as a party of choice I don't really have one,I just wait for the best lies(promises) and a gut feeling with some research and go from there.

Yes, because those who disapprove of Obama's policies are obviously racist.

It actually wasn't well played at all; it was ignorant and typical.

Hahaha....it's pretty funny because I would agree with you regarding the fact that too many people throw out the racist card with Obama. I was just messing with ya.

Just seems like you may be a bit over the top. Not much country left? How so?

When I hear about Romney, Palin, Gingrich, Trump and all the rest of potential "Candidates" for 2012 I just keep hearing George's voice in my head, "They come from American businesses, American Schools, American Universities and they are elected by American citizens. This is the best we can do folks. This is what we have to offer. It's what our system produces. Garbage in, garbage out. "

Yeah. Obama wasn't able to get the swing voters to vote for him before, was he?

    Or the "Obama Republicans," either.

IT was just those libbie socialists who voted for him.

    Um... wait, what?

MANY people have under-estimated Barack Obama and paid the political price for it.

Ask John McCain, Hillary Clinton, and for that matter... ask John Boener in about a year.

This just made me laugh, and its such a great point, may George rest in peace.

I was eating lunch today with my 10 year old grandson when his mom asked him
"What is tomorrow?" He said "It's President's Day"

She asked "What does that mean?" .... I was waiting for something profound....

He said "President's Day is when Obama steps out of the White House and if he sees his shadow,
we have 2 more years of unemployment and stupidity."

I almost snorted my iced tea.

Ah yes... you have to brain wash the brats young, don't you?

I guess he's too young to understand that this problem wasn't caused by the president... it was caused by 30 years of Republican trickle-down bullshit and corporations going unregulated for almost as long.

But I guess his mom should remember. guess she's also got the intellect of a 10 year old.

You don't think people react more strongly when a black guy does something compared to a white guy doing the same thing?
