    and forget about the hundreds of years that we did not educate or even recognize

I suggest you look around some other country's and count your blessings, continually complaining about the white man is so common with minority groups,the same groups that are offered scholarships and other benefits exclusive to their race only but it's never enough and the comment "the white man held me back" is straight up bullshit.

    I must admit I believed that you were or are a minority (Mexican or Indian) but that don't mean squat to me, it's most of your comments on this thread here that seem very anti white but anyway in todays world if a man is held back it is nobody's fault but his/her own and it's been that way for a long time.

It's a tough situation, but I honestly felt disadvantaged by having white skin when it came to scholarships and that feeling did not come from any desire to disadvantage others.

    This is very eloquently spoken, and I hope everyone on this thread takes the time to read it.

    I always leave race and gender blank unless I am made to fill it out. Then I ask why do I have to fill it out....at least they know I am against it and maybe they will think about it a little more.

    I don't know how I would feel, i have never been a part of it. But giving privileges to a certin group of people based on skin color is still racist.

    take a look around man, I have been denied a few things because of my skin color but I kept at till I got what I wanted, and besides why are people being blamed for something they had no part of ?...I don't know about you but this stuff was happening before I was born and never had any part of it but sense I'm white I guilty ?
