    Hmmm...

The Beatles' Get Back, Maxwell's silver hammer (cuz it's funny!)

Lennon's Instant Karma (maybe sped up and with Dave A on drums - a girl can dream!), I Don't Wanna be a Soldier (This version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRa4kJuSHAU)

    LedZep's The Crunge...nothing else

Rory Gallagher's Moonchild, Used to be, Just the Smile (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URveKIRGECo) & In Your Town ...would be a great opener if u lived there ;)

David Lindley's Mercury Blues .... I see Ben Harper joining in for this one!! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tr3Jp_aF1Ok)

J J Cale's After Midnight (good one for Eddie & his tambourines) or Cocaine - both with an increase in tempo slightly maybe

Oh, and thanks to this thread I am now saying OTOTO in my head repeatedly... "OH-TO-TO!!"
if I keep holding out,.... will the light shine through?

    Good pick!
"All I Ever Knew" available now in print and digital formats at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and iBooks.
  • When FASCISM Comes To America
it will be wrapped in the FLAG and
    carrying a CROSS.
  • I probably wouldn't normally pick this, but for some reason at this moment "the hurricane" by bob dylan seems like the best idea. That would be good.

I thought about this one too. But I went with Motorhead instead.

There is this dark, moody little improv that they did at State College PA that I would simply orgasm over if they ever expanded to a full on song. Please play that.

i kno what one..."i wanna be everything my dad told me i couldn't be...i wanna go high...i wanna get high....i wanna be free...i wanna be meeeee"

    love that improv

btw..achilles last stand would be sweeeeet or nobody's fault but mine or when the levee breaks (gotta love 8+ min led zep originals)

    Neil's Cortez the Killer

ive been to almost 20 DMB shows in the hopes that i hear that cover (since its more likely than at PJ show) but it would be pretty awesome if Eddie and the boys busted out that OTOTO

i know most ppl dont like DMB here but if you appreciate good neil covers you should check out Dave & Tim's version of Down By The River at Radio City or Ray Lamontagne's version.

    AGREED!!!
    GOTTA go with NEIL'S Version
Not really a big Dave fan, his covers are cool, but thats about all.

    When we gonna hear Downtown?

    won't get fooled again-the who
any srv song and bring out double trouble and have mike do the singing. this would only be fitting considering the festival will be at alpine valley.
