Was there ever a doubt that this guy had ulterior motives? This reminds me much of the Patriot Act, taking advantage of difficult situations to press an unpopular agenda.

I didn't vote for this asshole. He is a fn disgrace of a govenor and a disgrace to the state I live in. I am not part of a union, and have no benefit or losses related to them. The union workers have no problem paying more for their pension and insurance, which would help the deficit plenty, and which I think the should do. Why does their barganing rights need to be taken as well?

Prank calls; something anyone with a college degree could identify! Oh wait our moron of a govenor couldn't even graduate from college. How he even is allowed to run for govenor without a college degree is a joke, and we should be surprised he doesn't give a shit about education? It's time to impeach this piece of shit!!

He was turned in by the company that sold the chemicals and the trucking company that was suppose to ship them. Both knew that the customer was not a commercial customer. The patRIOT ACT had nothing to do with it.

Yes, a tip clued them in, but the article mentions:

I guess I'm speculating, but I would be surprised if the Patriot Act wasn't used to justify the searches.

They could have gotten court ordered wiretaps and search warrants in this case too. Now they can just snoop at will.
