People need to lay off Tim, its getting very boring.

I dont know Tim, not at all and have no reason to defend him.

But can i just ask is it that surprising that he is fiercely protective of his employers, and probably very close friends? They appear to a close knit group....and i imagine are very proud of what they have achieved.

Look at this board on a daily basis, and genuinely people need to ask themselves 'is it any wonder that these people get utterly fed up with some of the crazy things that get said and levelled at them'.....do we really expect him to just say 'people are entitled to their opinion'.

Sure i may get flamed for this, but i for one always respect someone for speaking their mind and not doing a pathetic PR speech that people are entitled to their opinion...blah blah.....he has the balls to face these things head on and speak his mind, he has the balls to go on this show and make himself available week in week out to try to connect with the fanbase.....and he has the balls to confront idiotic comments and stances being made. Personally I think he and the band deserves a little more respect. Sure people will comment and compare him to the CEO of microsoft....but again, take a hard look at it folks....he's the manager of a rock bands fanclub. Perspective is very much needed.

I havent heard the show, but levelling a comment at the bands drummer which infers he's playing too fast and fucking up the live show is not cool, not cool at all....and to be quite honest - good for Matt for dealing with that how he did.

Looking forward now to next week.....Sure Rob will do my favourite subject proud.
