Does anyone else think there should be a 10C presale for members living in the area when the venue is?

I think this is a good strategy for our environment.

a lot of us carpool to the shows and some (maybe many) of us purchase carbon offsets when we travel to see the band
these are also good strategies for the environment

I ride my Segue cross country to all shows.

no, seriously, I think your intentions are good. Don't know how practable (sic?) as people are going to go if they're interested. But I get your point.
  • No,
Spread Pearl Jam around more :)

Less travel for fans. Also make a better chance for local fans to score tix.

no. then there are people who dont have a Local show. How confusing would it be to draw up the maps? Who says someone's home show is one place, but not somewhere else?

I personally work near Philly, but live near Buffalo. Im actually in Philly 85% of the time, and I am attending the Washington show as it is the only one(s) I can make.

  • well, we can have people travel hundreds of miles and empty their overflowing pockets for shows. We can fuck up our planet over the next 50 years. Sounds like a plan! With so many bands filling stadiums popping up and the exponential increase of population...

You work near Philadephia, PA but live near Buffalo NY? That's a 6 hour drive according to Mapquest.

  • He must be a truck driver. We are talking about pleasure here, not work. Some travel for work is essential.

A lot of "die hards" will buy TM tix and drive anyway.

So... yes maybe a little greener... but not much. Especially since 10c only gets 10% of venue.
