IF it is Alpine....Thats still A BIG IF...
IF the 10 club distributes 10club tickets......
If things are business as usual as far as these tickets go.....
Tickets will be distributed by seniority...
7500 or so people will get seats....
The rest will be on the lawn.....
I agree, but my thinking is that if they play multiple nights then every member will get a chance to have seats for at least one show.0 -

Inevitable, no matter where it takes place.
The lawn has always been a lot more fun anyway.
But you can bet your ass....
That the "Perceived Hierarchy" (as you so eloquently described them)....
Will have their seats.....Take me piece by piece.....

ill be in the venue,no matter what, even if i have to use Greed fan club ticket"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".

No question in my mind.
I'll take that bet.
There is no way that everyone will be happy with their seats or lack thereof when 90% of those in attendance will be Ten Club members. There simply aren't enough seats at any venue.Nice shirt.0 -

so then it is to be assumed that lawn tickets will cost the same as reserved? if so, that is just wrong. Last thing I want is to get tickets, get charged full price and then surprise I am on the lawn and have to wait for money to be credtied back to my cc0 -
As of now i'll be happy to get into the venue enjoy a good old tailgate party be with some freinds from here and call it a weekend , iF AND THAT IS A BIF IF i happen to score tickets and get a seat i will be happy also , but ultimately i just wan't to spend the weekd with Freinds

I was thinking this would be more a festival in a field somewhere, not at a standard amphitheater. The good news for many of you here is I probably won't be making the trek to sit in shed seats for an over inflated price. That sorta takes the uniqueness out of it for me.0 -

Im just making assumptions here, because like everyone else who has posted in this thread....I have NO IDEA what the game plan is for Pearl-Jam Festapalooza......
But...
If it is at Alpine...And 10,000 10club tickets were to be available, then 2500 or so people would end up on the lawn...
And I am pretty sure those tickets would be the same price as the seats....
But who knows what, where, why, or when this festival is going to take place????Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....0 -
I believe no matter what there won't be enough tickets available to satisfy the demand i don't see how this can work out to everone's satisfaction at all :!: ..jesus greets me looks just like me ....0

I couldn't possibly agree more.
My hope is that the venue or cornfield is big enough to accommodate everyone.
Because if it's not, what's the point?Nice shirt.0 -

An event like this, PJ20, hopefully it will be more. The one thing I'm questioning is Ticketmaster, who are the main ticket disturber for The Alpine Valley Music Theatre events. If the PJ20 event is held there and Ticketmaster is their source of tickets, it would be madness for 10club to secure more then normal fan club tickets to this event. Ticketmaster would want to secure as much seats for that show as possible and probably half those tickets will go to their sister site, Ticketsnow, who sell them for double, triple + the price. And event like PJ20, there's gonna make ALOT of money made. Which will be bad for 10club & the fans trying to secure fan club ticket's online, if it's only 10-20 percent of tickets of the show amp.
Other then Alpine Valley, is there anything in IL, WI, MI etc.. 'Middle America' that can hold over 20,000 fans that is not run by Ticketmaster?

Yeah its true, some of us are just happy to be in the venue, however a lot of the older 10c member have such a sense of entitlement it does matter to them.{if (work != 0) {

AH OK....Now I see where metsy came up with 3,700....
10club only getting 10% of the venue to distribute tickets????
If thats the case....
Then it will be 7,000 or so 10club members on the lawn.....

This is hilarious! A comment/leak to confirm a few solid suspicions anyways... then onto DMB, the a Canadian Tour when I'm pretty sure he only mentioned Toronto Film Festival, then arguments/assumptions about how you expect TenClub to handle/not-handle the tickets... hilarious!
My advice... sit and wait.PJ - Sydney 1998; Sydney 2003; Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle 2006; Melbourne, Sydney 2009; Gold Coast, Melbourne, Sydney 2014.

Alpine is fine as I live in chicago
Wrigley Field is even better and they have had many big acts successfully including DMB, The Police and Billy Joel/Elton John.....
One of my first pics of places, Wrigley Field, if the band decided to play.
Reserved seats & all. Elton John's stage was pretty small. Pearl Jam would have to create something big for something like this.
that is bigger than Alpine**CUBS GO ALL THE WAY IN......never **0
