When you used to not think twice about dropping $30 on a single import bootleg, $50 for a 2CD and $100 plus for a "boxset", not caring about the quality, just so you could experience the thrill of hearing/reliving Pearl Jam live.
When people ask you why you are going to see the same show five times in a row and you answer: "They never play the same setlist".

4. You're friends with Dimitris on Facebook.
5. You've already built your funeral playlist with 95% PJ live stuff.
8. You know 2 or more lines from Yellow Ledbetter.
9. You've told your girlfriend to "drop the leash!".
you dream about them
and you worry about them :?
and when you're sad their music is the only thing that helps
and it's been 20 years but it all feels just like yesterday
...spending $190 on a boxset of music you already own makes perfect sense! ;-)
You CRACKED me up with this one!!!!
It's SO TRUE TOO!!! :ugeek:
Your iPod has 100+ playlists that all begin with the letters PJ: and then the name of a city or concert venue(sometimes followed by a number..ie PHILLY 4)
and the BEST playlist is simply labeled PJ: EVERYTHING

You know you're a Pearl jam fan when... you've been practically unemployed for the past two years, but here you are at 3am refreshing every so often to find out where the PJ20 FEST will be held and are planning to attend,,, even though you live in Europe!
When you live on this website
Your friends think your smoking crack
Your dad yells at you constantly for talking about them
You have a PJ tattoo on your back
EDIT: When the 1st thing you do in the morning on come on here

When you realize that you have actually spent the last 20yrs thinking about this band at least once a day i'm 50 believe me i've spent the last 20yrs following this band
You know you're a Pearl jam fan when... you've been practically unemployed for the past two years, but here you are at 3am refreshing every so often to find out where the PJ20 FEST will be held and are planning to attend,,, even though you live in Europe!
If you have 20 or more songs on your iPod titled "Encore Break"....you might be a Pearl Jam fan.
Niiiice.....:)
Osaka, Japan (2/21/95), San Diego (7/10/98), Las Vegas (10/22/00), San Diego (10/25/00), Las Vegas (6/6/03), Las Vegas (7/6/06), Los Angeles (7/9/06), VH1 Rock Honors (7/12/08), Ed Solo (7/8/11), Ed Solo (11/1/12), Los Angeles (11/23/13)
1) 2 tour snubs and 11 years later you're still a fan. (3 snubs if you count the EV solo tour snub).
2) You visualise scenarios where you run into the band when they did actually tour.
3) Jump in to rescue Ed when you can't actually swim.
4) Have a restraining order against you by the band...
Some are true, some aren't! :!: :?:
If it doesn't get dirt, grease or blood under your nails, it's not a hobby.
Your high school students ask permission to use your computer and then don't know what to do because Pearl Jam Radio is on and are scared to death to ask to minimize the window, let alone 'X' out of it.
haha these are so great! i have no idea how many "encore breaks" i have on my iPod! and i've DEFINITELY considered stealing a YIELD sign, and i get sick of answering, "how can you see the same show so many times?" and of COURSE i'm friends with D on facebook :P pretty much guilty of 99% of these...
you know you're a pearl jam FREAK when
...people at work say, "how many of those tattoos are pearl jam related?"
...you tell people you are going to vacation in Australia, and LITERALLY the first thing 9/10 people ask is, "why, is pearl jam playing there?" (and then you try to explain the difference between seeing eddie solo and pearl jam live...)
...every time you drive by the sign for Pearl street you do a double take
...for that matter, every time anyone uses the word pearl in any context you think it is pj related
...people you haven't heard from in months/years text/facebook you, "heard pearl jam on the radio today, thought i'd say hi"
...you talk about the band/band members like they are your personal friends
...every other status update is a pearl jam lyric
...every time you drive by the sign for Pearl street you do a double take
The street bordering the complex I work in is "Pearl" street. I see the sign 5 days a week, and still get giddy every time...how sad is that?!
(I've been thinking about printing up some white letters spelling "JAM" on a green background.)

you name your first born son Ed
Pj is the only music you listen to in the car every day for years & years
you keep logging on to see where the "festival" is going to be & trying to figure out how to get to the US from Australia just for it. will start saving my pennies. can I stay at your place?

When your best friend is getting married the same day the band plays near you and when you're at the party, some kind soul texts you something like this: "Opener: Sometimes"
And you think: "oooh, shit, this is going to be a great setlist and I'm here..."

True story just happened on 2/4/11!! And the kid was genuinely concerned, but I showed him how to open another tab on my mac! Just so PJ Radio would be uninterrupted. And I explained how smart of a decision he made!
You delete photos from your best friend's baby shower and family wedding to make room for more concert pictures on your digital camera. Without thinking twice about it.
Appreciation is a wonderful thing: It makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.... (Voltaire)
