I know how you are feeling. My husbands grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer around Thanksgiving and is currently undergoing chemo, soon to be followed by surgery. We've all been worried sick about her. Now, this week, my grandmother, whom I'm very close to, had a horrible case of pneumonia, she is currently in ICU. Things seem to be looking up for her, but all this is scary as hell. Needless to say that's why I'm on here at almost 4 a.m. rather than asleep. My best advice is to have faith that things will be ok, but I know it's scary. Hope all is well with you aunt and so sorry for the loss of your grandmother.

Sorry to hear your sadness ... try to feel positive ... the prognosis for early detection nowadays is very good.My sister had breast cancer at 28 and again at 30 ... she is now 46,been in remission for 10 years and has been discharged from the breast clinic.Stay positive ... sending good vibes

Ladies remember do your monthly breast examination it is usually the first point of noticing a difference

Thanks I hope so too. She has such a great attitude about it at the moment. She's even joking about wearing these awesome different coloured wigs and stuff.

Good on her, so proud of her.

I just wanted to say how lovely you guys have all been, thank you so much. I never would have thought that I would find such an incredible bunch of people outside of my friends and family. You have all been so supportive and it's been great to know I'm not alone and hear your success stories. My Aunty is in a great place at the moment, she's still having a laugh and telling us all that she'll be wearing pink and purple wigs. Once again, thanks for your kind words, they have meant alot.

Thanks mate, no I haven't but that's a great idea!! It's funny actually because when she was over here a couple of years ago, we went into a wig shop in town and we got told off for trying them on and being stupid. I guess I can't go back there!!

Can't say I blame her but just a bit upsetting.

Thanks mate, yeah it happened back in January actually but I think my Aunty has not been feeling well for a long time and she is not a young woman any more.
