How does the Katowice 1 version sound?
Not a fan of Eddie talking when the drumming begins. Will sound weird on a compilation maybe? Otherwise I guess it's ok... don't feel it being better than Milan/Sweden though. But personally I dig Rival more from the 2003 tour... don't now why... so.. maybe you shouldn't listen to me...

    :)

BTW, shouldn't LAST KISS be a bonus song. Wasn't this the first tour they played i?

I will have a further think about the title. The aim was to get something that resonates with the dedication to the victims of Roskilde - which is why it is so hard to get right. I want to try and pick up something from the right lyrics, will have a listen to NAIS. That Pinkpop version that Dimi suggested is great. Probably a better version of the previous title, which scans better once I've seen it written down is

    'Lights Become Stars'

Leave it with me, and I'll see what comes up when listening to the emerging collection.

Don't change it. It fits perfect with the reason behind this project.

No, no, no ! 'Light becomes stars' is brilliant and thoughtful !
It's really relevant with the topic and the reason why the tracklist is limited to euro shows, Light years having an even more special tone after Roskilde.

    I think I'm tending towards

    'Lights Become Stars' right now.

Certainly as a working title, or a choice between that and the first one.

Been waiting for this one :D Love Binaural. Especially this winter, have been listening to it all the time.
Looking forward to what you guys do, As you know I've LOVED the other projects.

Wish I could be of more help, all the shows that I've listened to have already been suggested.

Love the "Light Becomes Stars" title, beautiful. Fits with the mood of Binaural and it's very fitting to the Roskilde victims. Reminds me of the album artwork as well as the music. Perfect IMO

Thanks again for doing this :D

Thanks electricxlove. I think the title as Cameron4President has it now as the thread title, is the one I have settled on: 'Lights Become Stars'. It's a bit stronger grammatically than the first one, and could be read as a kind of 'universal' as well; whereas the first one is a bit muddier.

Hey! We have Grievance from my first ever Pearl Jam song - London 2000 (I). I can distinctly remember this one taking my adrenalin to overload levels. I sincerely hope you will be at the next London show! :D

yeah Lights Become Stars sounds better. Definitely. Love it tremors
I sincerely friggen hope so too, I'd sell my mother to be able to see them :D can't even imagine seeing Pearl Jam play - i'd probably faint  listening to their songs now already sends me into overdrive adrenalin mode

Of The Girl - I've heard the Milan 2000 version, don't know where that stands in terms of other live versions from the Euro 2000 tour but I love it. just a humble suggestion, i really need to start listening to the official boots.

ps - if the poetic types prefer the original title, I am more than happy - I just thought the second one worked equally. But I can't think straight now!

The songs I have been listening to on this collection are really good.

We need a strong Of the Girl to rival Milan - which we ditched in favour of Thin Air. I have heard some amazing versions of Of the Girl, particularly when it opens a show. Maybe we should set electricxlovex on the case for this too!

I got you I think was only played once in Europe, and that was at Verona (I could be wrong). The Verona version is good though.

I'll gladly do it! :D Love the song, I've only listened to the Milan and Portugal versions. Out of those two Milan wins. Portugal version is good but I feel like there may be a better version - more atmospheric So I guess we have to keep looking.

I'm listening to the Spain version now, love the crowd clapping along :D
