If 11 cents a day buys me something that makes me happy, so very happy, then it's a no brainer for me. No need to analyze all the ins and outs. I love this band, and love this community. The day I will be really upset is the day I get the e-mail that they are no longer offering memberships. Until then - call me a posimist. Fuck the pessimists.

Just goes to show how many early members no longer have their numbers, & how the vast majority of current members joined 10c only in the last few years (with the exception of lapsers, of course). I'll hafta check back next yr after everyone jumps ship with the digital vs. analog, ya know, to see how much we've moved up!Post edited by Given To DragonFly on0 -

I'm just curious, where do you draw the line? How much could PJ charge for a new album or t-shirt before even you said, "Hey now, that's ridiculous." ?0 -

This looks WAY better than my actual 324xxx, haha! And my hubby at 195xxx would be #7,892 (page 264)... sweet!

Edit: But then again, it says to the right that you joined in 2008. I guess 10c messed something up along the way, didn't they? So I typed out a big long post about 10 club member numbers vs forum member numbers but checking it seems to have not posted.
Well the gist of it was would the forum user number be an accurate indication of actual ten club members? When you join ten club I don't think you are automatically signed up for the forum, I think you would have to then go to the forum and sign up?? So Im sure there would be many ten club members who have never been on the forum, I know of a few in my circle of friends who never have, and I'm sure there are thousands that maybe haven't either. Not everyone likes or uses forums. Plus there are the members in it for tickets alone who probably don't care to come here and spout bullshit endlessly. So I don't think we can go off forum members as a true figure of ten club members.
There was a rumor pit back in the day that gave an estimate number of members per country or maybe continent. I remember the figure for Australia was 1000, I think it would be more then that now.
Edit: found it

A: U.K. 825, Italy 400, Germany 290, Netherlands 220, Spain 120, Portugal 120, Sweden 100, Norway 100, France 100, Ireland 80, Belgium 70, Denmark 65, Switzerland 59, Poland 40, Greece 30, Finland 28, Czech Republic 8.
Issue #56 - November 11, 2003
Q: How many fan club members are there in South America? UK?
A: UK = 900. South America = a couple of hundred.
Issue 58 - September 23 2004

I can't find figures for us/Canada, I'll keep checking.Post edited by threefish10 oncondescending and sarcastic since 19800 -

I think the numbers in aus/NZ would have gone up since 04, just judging by the last few tours.condescending and sarcastic since 19800 -

whaaaaaaaaaaaat-eveeeeeerrrrrrrrr
...
i doubt there's many 10C kiwis. we kiwis don't pay money for things that we can't hold! psshaw! only the particularly keen amongst us show outward nerdy appreciation. most of the country folds their arms and nods their head quietly.0 -
I remember at least 4 kiwis from the Auckland line. doompony +1 , KiwiChris +1... although 1000 Aussie fans seems a little excessive aswell.
Lets see these re-jigged member numbers to give us current members peace of mind... and bring back seniority seating in Australia/NZ :roll:0 -
