I'm sorry, but people of this caliber don't deserve to be called human. It is fucking sick, and disgusting and will never be accepted.

Never ceases to make me sick with a percentage of humanity.

Okay,... I'll say it. While I think this guy is a sack of shit,... and would love to fuck up his world,..

I have a tiny issue with someone being locked up for writing about how to commit a crime. Is it sick? fuck yes !! do I really care if he spends many years in prison for this book? not at all.
but,... writing about how to "get away" with a crime is not quite the same as him going out and fucking kids.
i know, i know,... its a thin line,... and I'm sure I will be blasted here for saying this.

I just wonder if we would be saying the same thing if someone wrote a how to book on "how to rob a bank" or something like that.

either way,.. i agree this fucker is sick.

I'm sure the guy knows from experience, and he's not just proclaiming what he thinks would work. How and why would you want to write a book on something like that if you didn't, and hadn't participated in it?

I'm not blasting you, but I feel that him writing this book is a clear indication of intentions he has had/has that were or will be acted upon.

and you are probably right,.. 100% so. BUT,... if there is not proof that he has touched a child,... how can he be convicted for writing about it?
and you can't convict someone for thinking about something they would like to do,.. no matter how fucked up it is.
i just think we are getting into a really gray area of the law here,... and even though i would love to see this asshat off the streets,... i'm not sure i'm ready for people being arressted and convicted for something they write about in this country.

What about the Manson conviction? I've wondered the same things... I mean, he just told people to go kill. He didn't kill anyone. I tell people to go fuck themselves all the time... Am I to blame if they actually do it?

You're right. I do believe in "innocent until proven guilty".

I don't want to see people get arrested for something they write, as it is our right...but honestly...who the fuck would even publish something like this...and why in the world would Amazon allow this filth on their website? That's fucking disgusting.

So what has he done wrong? The book can't be that bad or surely he'd have actually committed a crime in Colorado? Sure, the title is incredibly tasteless and disgusting but I wonder if this is a case of judging a book by its cover? The only account of what's actually in the book is from the people who only bought it in order to have him prosecuted! People are being very quick to decide what all this is about!

the book tells how to do the least outwardly physical damage while you are fucking a child
how to fuck children, or rather fuck them up for the rest of their little lives, and stay on the edge of law
how to brainwash the child you want to fuck into thinking that they want it, too
It was described on amazon before they pulled it
    the fucking title is
"The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure: a Child-lover's Code of Conduct,"
you think i cannot judge this book by its title
    you may be right
but i will err on the side of "this guy is a lowlife sack of shit"

He has written a book about how to sexually abuse children ... by the very fact of that he has either researched the facts of how to do this which would bring him into contact with abusers or possibly written from his own experience.
When police suspect child abuse often the only way to confirm that abuse is through entrapment ... paedophiles can,do and will take years and years to groom children before any actual abuse takes place. Therefore it would not be unusual to gather evidence by any means available ... as it should be ...
I work in child protection and the process that goes on for abuse to happen has kept me awake at night ... there is never room for benefit of the doubt when it comes to protecting children
If he is writing from experience, it seems odd that somebody would publish a bloody book on it surely :? . People have written about rape, even from the mind of the victim, yet they have not been accused of rape. People write of murder, all kinds of illegal, sick and wrong stuff.... and they rarely get accused of having done so themselves.

And many of us have probably been in contact with abusers... after all they look just like normal people sometimes ;)

I agree with pretty much everything you're saying... seems a very dangerous precedence to set but one that's quite easy to support. Sometimes in cases like this, I like to HOPE that the person involved has done it to prove some kinda point regarding the law and freedom of speech and all that. I'm sure this isn't that case I'm hoping for but you still can't arrest someone for writing something... isn't that what they do in China and Iran?

so if this book provides the impetus for someone to act on their paedophilic urges, someone who up to this point has managed to control themselves due to the twin facts of them being repulsed by their thoughts and urges and paedophilia being illegal, thats ok with you?

im certainly not ok with this guy being in society if what he does is think up ways to abuse children and then publishes that. we dont need these insidious people amongst us. paedophilia is vile enough without someone encouraging it.

I agree with both of you. I will add the obligatory what he wrote is fucked up. I would never buy it or support something like it in any way. I do not think someone should be arrested for what they write. It is a very slippery slope. Should we arrest Scott Weiland for writing "Sex Type Thing"?

That shit should never even have crossed his mind long enough to write a book about doing it, let alone thinking of how to let other sick fucks get away with it!

But it didn't 'just cross his mind', he actually wrote a book about doing it! I believe in a free world and your intitled to your opinion, don't get me wrong but to have such indepth thoughts about it, enough to write a whole book about it says alot about this dude's character!
I can only speak as a mother and say whole heartedly that if some sick fucker raped and bashed my beautiful little baby and said this book gave him the idea of how to get away with it, I sure as hell wouldn't be saying "Oh well, it's not like HE did it, he just wrote about it, let's let him go". NO WAY!! I would be getting that arsehole and smashing his face in with a crowbar.

I thought about mentioning Thomas Harris too! Along with Hannibal Rising, he should also be arrested for Hannibal. How can the same person who wrote Red Dragon and Silence of the Lambs have written those two books?!!!!
