I could care less about team america being unleashed, the people there can fight their own battles.
I really wish America would wise up and realize that if you just made it easy for those to come here who want democracy instead of trying to force it on those who may not, it is beneficial for the entire world. Too much fear of a different way of life I guess, I just don't know where it comes from.
I realize that chavez isn't as evil as people say he is, but I am inclined to believe he will not relinquish any of the power he gained any time soon. I don't know of too many others that turned down that kind of power...hopefully he does some good for his people.

In 1977, Chávez's unit was transferred to Anzoátegui, where they were involved in battling the Marxist-Hoxhaist insurgency group, the Red Flag Party. Well I'm from Venezuela, I lived all his raise to the power, until April 2004 when i came to this country, 95% of my family live in there, all I can say is that Chavez is a constitutional dictator, every single move made by him was/is towards the acquisition of absolute power in the country, he controls the press, TV, and now he wants to control the internet, the poor is poorer than before, the middle class is almost nonexistent, and the new upper class is filled with people in his administration, the corruption is rampant and there's NO legal system, every single crime remains unpunished, except the people who say something against the government, they are considered criminals and receive higher sentences than murderers.

Anyway, comparing Chavez to Obama is basically impossible, but not because Obama is the total opposite of Chavez but because is not possible, Obama has to deal with a structure of government nonexistent in Venezuela, it is a totally different subject if you does a good or bad work with what he has.

And Sean Penn is just a misguided guy blinded by the lies of Chavez, I'm pretty sure that he did roamed the streets of Caracas by himself.

You have to be there to understand how, Venezuela is not Swiss

, people from the first world nations or half civilized nations will never understand how deep corruption runs in the 3rd world nations, you can get a driving license without even knowing how to drive, you can get into the social security system just by paying a fee, you can become a legal citizen and start voting right away in any election just by paying the proper functionary, the level of corruption is something you can't even imagine, any movie about corrupt cops or politicians here on the USA is a joke, imagine a country run just like a Saturday Night Live sketch is sooo sad that is funny.

In other words Venezuela is a lawless country, and Chavez is the higher ranking thug.

It is a shame that you don't speak Spanish, I could send you video of Chavez making laws on the spot and stealing lands like nobodies business.
