(Keeping things short and snappy - just like the Who - This 14 song collection takes us on a tour of Who 'covers', sequenced in the order in which songs were written (Who said rock and roll can't be educational?). Another favourite of ours.... the sound quality is high, the performances are tight, the mood is good. This is a little different from some of the other PJ Who compilations floating around out there - we didn't want to duplicate those, and tried to come up with something a bit special, drawing on the help and suggestions from the message board. These versions feature no musicians other than the members of Pearl Jam. Another rocking slice of of music to download in time for Xmas!! Enjoy!)I am the artist formally known as "Cameron4President"....

I always toyed with doing these compliations but feel free to "borrow" these ideas.. I never got around to doing them and you guys are awesome at these projects:
Plus, I am busy enjoying the most recenetly / discovered released Led Zep soundboard boot from the 1977 tour:
#1 Pearl Jam Light & Dark
(disc #1 are uplifting live songs "Present Tense" / disc# 2 are disturbing "Deep" "Blood")
#2 A Pearl Jam Sunday Morning
(Disc made up of accoustic / mellow performances forearly morning / lazy weekends.. this type of a compliation is great for turning "newbies" onto PJ.. Lots of tracks out there to pick too!)
#3 Pearl Jam "Come Early and you shall be rewarded"
(an ed quote) Compliation of Ed and PJ pre-sets
Keep up the great work..!

I might consider The Real Me or Love Reign O'er Me from night 1 Chicago 2009...in a word, incredible.
I Hope that the both of you enjoy it.
I'm listening to this at work right now...it's my new favorite! I've often thought about compiling a similar list from the shows I've attended, but it'd be much shorter than your compilation.
This weekend my son had his disc playing while cleaning his room...I think it's his new fave too.0 -

This is truly one of the coolest things I have heard. Thanks so much for writing this. I still haven't made my dad a copy of this, I need to. He was the person that turned me on to The Who.
I am glad that you and your son are enjoying this. Thanks again.I am the artist formally known as "Cameron4President"....

Sounds great! I wish my Dad and I could listen to Pearl Jam together. We sometimes manage Springsteen. I think he finds PJ too 'noisy', but he has gained respect for Vedder from stuff I've shown him over the years - often lyrics cos he doesn't care for the sound. I sent him the clip from the Bridge of 'Walk with me', and wrote the lyrics for him (he's a bit deaf too) - and he ended up reading them out in his Church apparently! Also I am getting my Mum into Backspacer (via Into the Wild) which she has found moving. So I'm working on it!Cancel my subscription to the Ressurection
