Yeah come to Canberra, it will be fun! The day before the show (Monday 14th March) is a public holiday for people in ACT, VIC, TAS and SA - and all for different reasons
Take me for a ride before we leave...

So the most important question – What will the merch be like?
I hope it differs from the 2009 stuff. And is a bit more lady friendly.

Please use a different t-shirt supplier than the Australian 2009 shows.

The quality of those t-shirts in 2009 was terrible. My Perth and Ames Melbourne shirts shrank from a L to a S the first time they were washed - and in cold water. The ones I got on the 2009 US leg where much better and I am wearing them regularly now, my Aussie ones are retired as memorabilia only.

The 3 tees I got were all US ones... and I got a guys one for a friend and that was a US one too..
Sizing was the only problem with them..

I agree. Not the best quality at all, though I do wear the one I got around sometimes. What was better was the one I bought from 2 guys selling some outside the Etihad - great quality, generic t shirt for half the price.

Ha ha. It's kinda sad when bootleg Ts are better quality then the official ones.

This one was truly much better, and a lot of people seeing me wearing it have asked where it came from.

Two of the ones I got wash fine and kept shape but the PJ blue built to last one has started
    unravelling thread :(
I got a Metallica tee last month and that is washing up really well
and for the sizing its perfect, seems true to size... Sizing I think is always
    a problem with band tees..

Usually they have really bad designs though.
  • Done!

EV Sat Night, STP Sun Night

    Anyone else doing the double?
  • I also bought a ticket to Newcastle (just in case) which should be for sale in a fortnight. It's non 10C and the seat isnt brilliant (Circle, Row M).

Would anyone be interested if it is on sale?

You might have the same T-shirt my bf bought from a couple of guys who were selling them on the footpath outside QSAC in Brisbane. It's got the tour dates on the back with the TEN album cover photo on the front..

I have a friend who wants to come to the concert with me... he would buy the ticket if you would like to sell it.

Don't think so. This one has the tour dates on the back with Pearl Jam in simulated typewriter letters above (Backspacer style), and on the front it has the Backspacer Pearl Jam letters above a pic of the boys in concert (probably back in their Ten days) with Jeff jumping in the air, Ed out the front and Stone (I think - it's hard to discern who it is) to the right. Considering this t shirt was only $20, it's excellent quality and was a bloody good buy.
  • Honestly at Newcastles Civic theatre I reckon all seats are good. its not a massive place. and if everyone sits the hell down well we should all get a good show

I just had a look at it and it's the same one you've just described. I should've had a proper look at it before I posted .. was just trying to describe it from memory .. but yeah, it's sounds like the same one you bought. :)
