I had a feeling that you were going to ask me that. :D Really the next step is figuring out if other changes need to be made and if there are any SQ issues that we can improve. I say that because half of the disc is not SBD and not much can be done to those songs, but it is still worth trying if you have any issues with those songs (Non-SBD).

Overall this project is tight and the it sounds really good regardless of the fact that have of it is from an audience source. I believe that everybody will be pleased with the finished project. I know that this has been my favorite one to listen too so far.

Yeah this one has come together pretty quickly, it sounded awesome to me, regardless of the source. An old adage comes to mind..... 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it!!' 8-)

I will have a complete detailed listen to Version1 right now, and say if I can hear any problem areas etc

    Yeaaaah !!!! :D

I like this 'generation' much better.
Giving it one more listen, but I don't really see what should / could be changed there.

The only thing is .... it's a bit short ;)

Edit : hope he won't be crazy enough to 'shun the South of France' this time

He's only playing London and Seattle, and I'm going to both. This is just a rumour though (that I made up)

    Ok I can't resist..

"Naked eye" is an all time favorite who cover and there is a bit of a mystery to the track I am goig to recommend:

There is a similar complitation called "squeeze box" on this pj fan site:

    http://www.pearljamonline.it/mp3.htm

scroll down the page and you will find the "squeeze box" compilation and links.

This version of Naked eye is credited to the 11/5/96 solo show Ed did with the fastbacks but its not from that show.
I have heard that version and this version side by side and its a different performance from some other show.
I have never been able to ID the source.
The good news is that its excellent sound quality with just one minor goof in Ed's vocal (cracks his voice once)..
If you download the compilation you will posess this rare gem..
very few people have this clip..

I realize you do not want to rip off this person's compliation but there is one other good choice (specifically "I'm one" from 11/27/00.. Ed solo.. its the best version there is out there)

Finally, check out the 7/3/03 Mansfield version of Baba..

I think its superior to your pick , crowd is louder too..

Just my opinion, you guys seem to have the best instincts so keep doing what you do best!

Cool, thank you for that suggestion. I will have to check it out.

We had some discussion about the 'squeeze box' collection, and I think we concluded that since quite a few people knew of it already, we would try and do something a bit different, and try and use some different versions too
