Concert T-shirt wearing etiquette?

75% of the Tshirts I own are concert/band shirts. It'd show more planning on my part to pick out the shirts that aren't musically related and wear them to shows9/1/00, 4/28/03, 7/5/03, 7/6/03, 7/9/03, 10/1/04, 9/30/05, 10/3/05, 5/27/06, 5/28/06, 5/30/06, 6/3/06, 8/2/07, 6/14/08, 6/20/08, 6/25/08, 8/16/080

Hell, I wore the same PJ shirt to the last 5 shows I've been to. And I'll probably try to get a few more out of it too!"In certain trying circumstances...profanity furnishes a relief denied even to prayer." - Mark Twain0

i normally wear a pj shirt to a pj show but not a tour one, i like to wear older/rarer ones (STICKMAN IS NOT RARE)
eg last show i went to i wore my 94 U.S VS tour t shirt that has the massive pic of the album cover (goat thingo) on the back

why must people bug out when a thread like this comes along?
80% of the threads on this board are wastes of time yet this topic gets the most abuse

I personally do not wear shirts of the band I am going to see but could care less if people do. Why would someone else's t-shirt bother me?
That scene from PCU is pretty funny though..."Don't be that guy"
One thing a friend of mine commented on is the people that think they are cooler than just the t-shirt guy. For example a guy wearing a football jersey with the number 10 on it and VEDDER across the back. Or a Mookie Blaylock jersey. Does this bother anyone else?Hey, you wouldn't hire a clown to fix a leak in the jon so why do you let these hooligans tear down the biz? YEEAAHHH. I don't care if he is Mr. Notorious BIG, can he croon?0 -
I think it's probably ok if it's a big arena rock show. (don't ever do it at a small club, that would be weird)
and it's better if it's a really old or rare shirt.0 -
It's RULE #1!!! Don't violate it!
Can you blow me where the pampers is?0 -

I think that's a stupid rule. It's a rock concert; there shouldn't be any dress codes.
Anyway, I like seeing all of the different PJ t-shirts at their shows. Sometimes I count how many different ones I see...Chicago 2000 : Chicago 2003 : Chicago 2006 : Summerfest 2006 : Lollapalooza 2007 : Chicago 2009 : Noblesville (Indy) 2010 : PJ20 (East Troy) 2011 : Wrigley Field 2013 : Milwaukee (Yield) 2014 : Wrigley Field 20160 -
Wait a second,
I see threads every day about someone complaining about something that has to do at a concert (people sitting, smoking, being overly drunk, seat stealing, etc) and people respond by "It's a fucking rock concert!" but now there's rules by what you wear?
How about this:
Wear what you want. It's a fucking rock concert.0 -
Concert tees worn by some guy who spent 90 bucks to see a show not ok?
but the guy who sings can wear the same thing 7 nights and thats ok (white pants no less)????????????????????????????????????????????????????
just for that, I'm wearing PJ tees for the rest of my show life!
You people are nuts!
