How can you tell? I can never find the right link on his site. I the last 3 years I've only managed to score one Emek print.

i've only gotten emeks from other sites...

if you look on his site now there's an icon that says "soon"... so this may be our only hint

i beleive the print in question is the decemberists one... which has been seen for a while but the show isn't until next week

but then again... i'm making all this up and know nothing

    welcome home lou .

while we wait for posters, take a peak at my beach photos.

the gigantic waves were pounding the shore during our Nor- Easter today .

Man Bath, that looked like a mean storm! I guess us Ontarians have been lucky... if you can believe that. We've barely got any snow here.

    How does the Hawaii look??

Glad to hear you had a good trip Lou

spent a long weekend in fort myers fla area... visiting family, friends, the beach, the spa

    it was nice...

it was also nice to get away from some of the a-holes around here

    wow- nice.
howd you get an airplane that actually flew ?

people here at JFK were held up on their plane to aruba for 8 hours !
    without moving !

i would have been taken off the plane in handcuffs, thats just too anxiety ridden for me personally .

they finally let them back into the gate and terminal when they ran out of food ( little bags of pretzels for the passengers )

the hawaii print is fabulous, i especially enjoy this unique size .( reminds me of the smaller NEOCON posters - only as far as size ) The oranges ( i think ) are brilliant ! The only downside is that there were 750 of these in the first run, not very " rare " in terms of posters.

    still nice, just the same.

uhm, who are D Rock & Trey ? im guessing the artists, but maybe someone knows for sure.

If you are talking about the CCFA Hawaii posters, they are a run of 250, not 700.

DRock & Trey are the artists of the Hawaii print. http://www.dumbgun.com is their website. They are fan artists, so we love them extra-lots. Derek/drock lurks around the boards here, so drop him a line and say hi :)

    thanks foxy.

you'd think an artists signature and penmanship would be flawless,

    it sure looks like a " 750 " but now with your correction- i guess i can see a 250 . :D

once its finished flattening, i will photo and show it to show you all what i meant.

oh and what is this D Rock guys message pit screenname ? thanks !

    i will restrain

    but i will also share

on expressobeans i "joked" that i soaked my posters in water and vinegar to flatten them

i received about 3 private messages asking for the exact technique

some people just put the new poster under their other 50 posters

some people buy a large piece of plexiglass and put it under that

and some use water and vinegar :)

    Good post on flattening.

This is lou's water and vinegar post too. I just weigh down each corner w/ something kind of heavy and flat...like a pack of printer paper. You don't want something that'll indent your poster. That's why I go with something w/ a lot of surface area.

When you gotta sign close to 300 posters (R/E + S/E) ya figure their penmanship may suffer on occasion :)
