    Dear Pearl Jam,

Play everywhere but the East Coast this time. We deserve to be snubbed this time around and others deserve to enjoy your shows. Thanks for all the shows on the East Coast lately. Go play the Dakota's... Iowa... Montana... Tennessee.... ya know the less fortunate areas who haven't enjoyed you as much as we have.

    Thanks.

Why would a band snub the East Coast? That's tour financial suicide.

They probably wouldn't but they should. Financial suicide? Those guys are set for 10 lifetimes. lol.

My sentiments exactly. That comment is a fucking joke. Bands with 1/2 the fan base of PJ can pass through Tennessee, Texas, Florida, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, etc.. and make the tour economical, there is absolutely no reason PJ can't tour the south.

By your logic Tool must have committed financial suicide with all the shows they've done in the south in the past 3 or 4 years.... yeeesh..... gimme a break.

Greedy east coasters..... share the love! It think it's your turn to have to travel to see PJ. :x
Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

if this was true, this forum shouldn't even exist! ;)

No disrespect intended, but a Brad tour doesnt even tickle the slightest of interest for me,
however an eddie tour or of course a full out PJ show or two always interests me.
I guess a new message interests different folks, for whatever reasons.
    Enjoy the show(s) everybody !

It's been a long day and I haven't had my daily quota of chocolate yet :D so I haven't bothered to read all 30+ pages ....

Obviously Wizard of Oz is referenced - brings to mind Australia, the midwest, Seattle...but that all seems a little limited and too exclusive.

One man stands alone? As others have said, Eddie solo tour is the obvious assumption - but who is 'that man behind the curtain' referring to (even if we're not supposed to pay any attn to him)? And what is the Eddie/Birdie connection?

I do think it's suggesting a tour is imminent and most likely a solo tour - isn't that the only reason 10C gets us to ensure our memberships and details are up-to-date?? But I have a feeling there's gonna be a certain something to it....like something not done by the band/Eddie before ...or maybe that's just the choccies calling :lol:
if I keep holding out,.... will the light shine through?

I don't see all of the hype for Australia ...... Wizard of Oz to me means MIDWEST

Same here. We should know that they wouldn't do that from the beginning.
  • My brother just called and told me Ed played last night at the Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg, In. If there's any validity to it I'm going to be pissed as there was no announcement or anything. I can't find anything on it so he may be full of it. At least I hope so!!
