In the past, they have limited tickets in Australia to Australian members only. Anyway, these things always say to update membership and address. I wouldn't read too much into that. Here's the tweet about the last OZ/NZ tour, same deal.
you'll notice that there's no mention of nz in that tweet though. vegemite isn't a typically nz thing, that's an aussie thing. if it had been nz it would've been fucking marmite.

Hm- that's an interesting twist. I expected SA much later. If this is true, I'm so there but I'll have to do some strategic traveling to make to a conference in San Fran by the night of the 5th.
Kinda hoping it is an Australian tour, coz if it's Europe I'm going to have to sell a kidney or hit a Cashpoint with a JCB!! Plus I'll probably end up divorced with ed named as the third party! Love it to be a new ed solo ep free to all current members and a tour which isn't announced on the mouth of chrimbo!! Remember this time last year? The good lady won't bite two years in a row!!
In light of the recent mystery vinyl sale, i think that is further proof that the new single is going to be on its way on monday. They probably decided since they are releasing the new one and they thought they had an awful lot of other various singles laying around, and they should get rid of them.

Basically an Eddie tour is a PJ tour without the rest of the guys anyway since he has such little solo material.
I couldn't disagree more. I know that some Pearl Jam fans consider an Eddie tour to be as desirable as a Pearl Jam tour, but his solo stuff is of very little interest to me. It's not that I dislike what he has done on his own,I just don't get excited for Eddie's solo projects like I do for PJ. He's only 1/5 of what makes this band special to me. He has a beautiful voice and is a hell of a songwriter, but Eddie isn't a "must see" for me like Pearl Jam is.
